I often wonder how many people are aware of his journey: his parents did not make it to wealth and fame. He tried to cheer them up, and make his mother feel special by having given birth to someone so special. He became famous by playing the clown for us. His material wealth gave him the freedom to explore what most of us do not have the courage to explore. And when he had all these realizations, he jeopardized his career just by sharing his newly found wisdom with us. And what did the 3D-sheeple do? They called him crazy.

I understand the sentimental expression. I think we are in fact like Jim in that we all have sufferings we can relate to. But he isn't us. That's a strange and untrue thing to say. Jim is certainly a wonderful human being but the same can't be said for everyone so that is obvious. I think what Jim is doing is employing a sort of Buddhist philosophy to escape from himself. We have to be careful though. I think his healing process is natural because he wants to deidentify with the false self he created in Hollywood. But the philosophy he is adopting is just a cope. So think about that. Obviously, he isn't us because if he were, we would know what its like to play Andy Kaufman and we don't.

He always makes me feel seen, without ever meeting him. My family and friends are well meaning but, they make me feel like I'm, idk...not right, not well, different in a bad way. When we talk, I can see the walls they put up. When I finally was brave enough to show them my art, I paint and write. My mom cried and said, "Where did I go wrong with you?" My dad had this look of sadness and fear. My sister rolled her eyes, my husband doesnt get it. He says, "where is all this pain coming from? Are you not happy with me?". I try to explain that what I create has nothing to do with them, it just what's in me, what's always been in me. I'm bipolar, and I fought with my mind for so long, I thought about suicide, had a plan, letters already written. I drove to the beach one last time, to watch the waves. It was there, then, that I figured it out. I was scared and depressed and anxious because I was hiding who I was. I imprisoned my soul, the real me, because I feared what others thought. I wanted to be normal. Why would you want to be normal? Be extraordinary, be weird, embrace what makes you strange to others. Use what talents you have to help people. Be kind, be selfless. Love your madness! Stop hiding, just live. That was 8 years ago, I do still have issues with my bipolar disorder. I am in therapy, on meds, for now. There is lots of work to be done, but for the first time in my entire life, I'm not scared of myself! Those close to me are coming around, but until they can really see me, I rely on people like Jim Carrey to know I'm not alone.

So happy for you. I’m bipolar as well and I have had/am having the same experiences with family/friends/coworkers and colleagues. Keep pursuing your passions no matter what people say as long as it makes you feel good and happy. That very thing helps tremendously with bipolar disorder- doing that which brings us joy. I went undiagnosed from about 10 yrs old to 28 before finding I am bipolar. Many people put on a dumb, silly, or other act, because it is usually disarming. That goes for comedians, politicians, etc. Tricky bit, is understanding the person’s heart, to discern motive of that actor. Often, a politician, for instance...the bigger the act used to fool people, the bigger danger there is...like a number of world leaders today....the bigger the act, the more noise they make, the more people must be careful of what is in that actor’s heart. Jim has a good heart..tries to wake people up.

I've always enjoyed listening to Jim Carey, whether movies, interviews, or the transformation of realizing the true being; why we are really here. It is quite simple ya know, The distractions in life, are just that.....DIstraCtionS. It's all beautiful, the light, the love, and the knowing that, we are all here for a reason. Majestic, but we have allowed ourselves to forget. Death. The loss of something that took a piece of your heart, will awaken many and it did me many moons ago with the loss of my grandfather, and illness and passing of my mother. Look or feel the for the signs that they give you or other parts of you. They're real. Remember that vibrational wave of energy. Do what really makes you happy and allow that feeling, wave of excitement , pull you in. That could be our world, if we all came together . Hugging, helping, loving, laughing, smiling and just being in that present moment of time....WOWZER!!! Those actions could save the world, raise the vibration. I can't really describe it, it's just pure happiness and Awesomeness!! No judgements, no worries, just peace. As Jim Carey mentioned something... . It's hard to describe to and convince people. It's truly amazing! Gravitate towards the positive always, remember that! I'm rabbling now and gonna conclude with this......: You all are beautiful. Each and everyone of you. No matter what others or yourselves say to you ... You are loved. Loved more than you could ever imagine. Most people reading this, know the beauty. The starts, the middle, and the complete bliss of our conscientious. I want more. More knowledge, More truth, More love. More peace. It really, really is, something special and addicting. There comes a time along this journey, when it all just smacks ya right in the face. Everything is a lesson in this Earth school, release the karma and open your hearts. I can't say this enough, "If the world would see more color, what a Vibrant world we could be."

You know when you hear something that strikes a cord in you and you can relate to it and have an epiphany about your own life...listening to him just did that for me. I love hearing these wonderful genuine people who can articulate something deep and meaningful because sometimes they say something which is like a drop of realization for me and all those drops add up to a whole lot of understanding.

Jim looks so natural, at ease. He never bothert people with his pains,he cleaned his own past to bring the joy to help the others. And he did this pretty vast: he's still young ! I've been listening and embrassed ! Like a sparkling atom representing the univers. Like god gives a smile from inside, In/Out : One care.

I have been battling with my emotions for the past few weeks. Wanting to be in tears ever second of the day. Living in this cruel world can be overwhelming. I started watching videos of this man today and my energy has shifted in the most amazing way. I am grateful to have come across this video. Today I smiled knowing that everything’s going to be ok.... in my life while on this spiritual journey. I would love to meet him and have a conversation. I would for sure have a notepad. I love Jim Carrey ❤️

Oh how I can relate with what Jim says...My mother has been ill for many years now, and I tried my best to relieve her from suffering and make her feel better and at peace, and not depressed. I hope she somehow realised how valuable her life is and has been. Beautiful words, what an inspiring person. Thank you Jim.

Jim has changed in such a profound way, and sees the world through a different lens. He’s a beautiful mind, & he’s so beautiful & tragic at the same time. He’s such a rare specimen, and we’re so fortunate to have Jim around to share insights we may never understand. It takes getting wealthy & famous. Jim, did just that, and has moved beyond concern for material things.

I appreciate the heavy burden he layers onto himself to find a deeper connection and understanding. You can tell that it is a completely uncomfortably place accompanied by sorrow and depression...and growth. I hope he keeps sharing everything he thinks and feels, no matter how in conflict with current beliefs/ideologies for his sake and for the sake of others. Every time he speaks he's bending the waves of the universe through his affect on individual particles. Love ya, man.

The last few years I’ve grown to respect and love Jim Carey soo much. I used to not take any notice of him because I never liked the type of character he played in the movies he is best known for although I had a lot of admiration in terms of the difficulty of acting out his antics . I was pleasantly surprised to rediscover him through his serious movies and even feel bad that people don’t talk about them as much since they carey (get it?) much more significance and are way more impactful. Even more precious are the words he shares when he has the opportunity like this here. He has led to so much positive change in my life. Its so humbling to see how down to earth he is considering the circumstances not to mention the way he thinks and goes about life. However I must say that IMO the music playing in the background is making his speech sound trivial and feels like its moking his words not complimenting them.
