I met him in Buenos Aires Argentina and he take me and some friends with him to another city to see him play because i have no money. They get us food, pillows and blankets to sleep on the road and they shared with us a lot of their time and effort. Also the company that bring him to Argentina doesn't want us in the van because we didn't have insurance for the travel and Peter locked himself in the hotel room saying that until they don't get us in the van he was not going anywhere. Brilliant guy and probably the best day of my life

I'm gonna go full armchair on this once, but I've noticed that a LOT of addicts have those moments. Where they seem almost childlike. I think a lot of people like to pretend addiction is a morality issue, but in reality, it's just a side effect of trauma and/or mental health issues. Particularly, childhood trauma, abuse, dysregulation in the home, etc. Doing drugs, or any addiction really be it an eating disorder or gambling, they are all just the self-soothing of the child within themselves and a way to break from their current state of being and self-hatred. Generally just have not been given the tools necessary to be emotionally productive adult.

Aside from having been in rock bands and being drug addicts they are/were very different people with individual lives and it seems wrong to me to water them down into just having been drug addicts in rock bands. I’m sure there are other things they have in common but again that’s not a fair representation of them as individuals. I’m not entirely sure how to put it but I hope you get what I’m driving at.

dean luff ok let me explain something to you. When you smoke crack which i have unfortunately done you dont really get "high". You get a super intense high then it goes away and you want more. Its not like tooting a line, so "being on crack" is not really possible unless you are taking constant blasts. Heroin made me sweat a little, yeah a blast of crack will too. I dont know you from Adam but i when hate people babble on about things they dont know, Drugs are not cool by any means but i dont talk about cars because i dont know about cars.
