I work at chick fil a. Literally everything at chick fil a is fresh except the soup, and that's still pretty fresh. You sandwich is never more than one minute old. And the chicken stays under the heater for no longer than 20 minutes.

I used to like their biscuits but over the last 6 months or so they started leaving them under the heat lamp longer which makes them hard on top. I asked a manager what was going on because I kept getting hockey pucks instead of biscuits and he said that it came down from corporate to leave them under the heat lamps longer. So, I quit going because it was a toss up if I got a good biscuit or a bad one.
