This is so stupid. Lacy is obviously happy with her career, so she is in no way someone who is being rejected by Hollywood. This seems more her choice to do Hallmarks rather than a last resort. She seems happy and I hope she will stick with her faith!

She's a good actress, as long as she's working who cares if "Hollywood " is casting her. . Hollywood is out of touch with the real world have you noticed?

Oh yeah, we noticed. Hollywood never has, unless they look at their bank accounts. They don''t just live in a bubble... its more like a Submarine without a periscope. Time to start a thread of my own here...

What has whether you care got to do with it? She's not being cast by Hollywood and this video seeks to explain why. It makes no judgements beyond that. It doesn't claim that Hollywood is in touch so your pointing out that it's out of touch has exactly zero relevance.

Yeah funny how Tina get's all the accolades while Amy Pohler takes a backseat on SNL until Parks & Rec...then Tina does 30 Rock and blows her away in the ratings...Best Friends? Amy Rides the Coattails she knows where the Camers are. Loved Lacey in Party of Five, But no research needed to see her limelight is on the way down.

Interesting theory. I guess the biggest problem with it is that 30 Rock started in 2006, whereas parks and rec began in 2009. Also, I definitely preferred parks and rec to 30 Rock, which brought more unknown comedians/superstars to the forefront, like Aubrey Plaza, Nick Offerman, and Chris Pratt.

Right on the money again Nicki! Not only it's a curse, i also think since Mean Girls, she just never left that character, the other 3 like Lindsay has done their part to be in this business, whilst Lacey seem a bit uptight, probably sensing she will be asked instead of her just doing her nails and waits for the golden offers.

@inconsolabile

I'm calling bullshit on this video. So she is a devote Christian, and makes movies that aren't exactly Oscar-worthy, but make her happy. Not every single actor in Hollywood makes movies because they want to win an Academy Award; some just make movies where they can identify with their characters. And since when is it wrong to focus on family instead of their career? They're really telling about that in this video as if it was the most absurd thing in the world. These videos used to be fun when they contained real facts, and not some made-up bullshit that doesn't make any sense. This channel seems to be running out of ideas and celebrities to diss, and as a result, the videos are visibly forced and fake. Cut the crap, Nicki!

Thats literally what the video said. It said that she prefers smaller roles in family friendly movies, but they never said that's a bad thing. Your take seems to be that Hallmark is a white elephant burial ground. I see great actors that aren't cast, for one reason or ten others, in Hollywood's limelight. In regard to the cast of thousands, whose sick souls have been brought to light in recent scandals, I don't mind that certain actors have distanced themselves from such crap. So, those whom Hollywood passes by, are shining on Hallmark! And young people, who are at their beginnings, are beginning to shine, without fear of molestation in return for a chance at a role. You may think less of Lacey Chabert, but I think more of her.

I love Lacy in anything she makes. I love that she joined the Hallmark channel. Hallmark usually uses their actors for 2-3 movies a year. And some also do short series work.

I like Lacey Chabert. I have always wonder why she hasn't been around as much. I wish she would have continued with Meg Griffin on Family Guy, but I understand why.

Some of us actually enjoy "B" movies and Hallmark films. Who is to say that just because it is an "A" movie that it is any good? I am a big fan of Roger Corman movies.
@jamesshunt5123
@jamesshunt5123 5 жыл бұрын
Roger Corman always managed to have a great deal of self-distance in his movies and he made some great satirical comment in them. They were often tongue-in-cheek and guerrilla film makers. As such they're low budget but clever. A devout Christian has zero self-distance and only understands "absolute truths" derived from an old book written back when people were ignorant and primitive (especially in Judea which literally was the arm pit of Antiquity). As such they're lower than any B-movie and shouldn't be mentioned in the same breath as Roger Corman.

I Absolutely LOVE Lacey! Good for her on her journey in life, and being a new mom. She's a beautiful and smart woman who knows what she wants seems to me she doesn't need validation from "HOLLYWIERD" She looks to be just fine without having to sell her soul. Bless you Lacey sweetheart!! I'm tuning in to "HALLMARK" Thank You!

All I KNOW is that LC is simply awesome. I intentionally hang on to every thing she does. She's beautiful, devout and obviously very intelligent. Thank God for someone who is willing to stand for things that are true, honest, just, pure, lovely, of good report and having virtue and praise in spite of the cost. There are unspeakable blessings for such a stance. By the way, I love Hallmark and don't consider it a den for "has beens" but rather one of the only true family oriented and morally sound networks in existence today.
