This is so stupid. Lacy is obviously happy with her career, so she is in no way someone who is being rejected by Hollywood. This seems more her choice to do Hallmarks rather than a last resort. She seems happy and I hope she will stick with her faith!

What has whether you care got to do with it? She's not being cast by Hollywood and this video seeks to explain why. It makes no judgements beyond that. It doesn't claim that Hollywood is in touch so your pointing out that it's out of touch has exactly zero relevance.

Interesting theory. I guess the biggest problem with it is that 30 Rock started in 2006, whereas parks and rec began in 2009. Also, I definitely preferred parks and rec to 30 Rock, which brought more unknown comedians/superstars to the forefront, like Aubrey Plaza, Nick Offerman, and Chris Pratt.

I'm calling bullshit on this video. So she is a devote Christian, and makes movies that aren't exactly Oscar-worthy, but make her happy. Not every single actor in Hollywood makes movies because they want to win an Academy Award; some just make movies where they can identify with their characters. And since when is it wrong to focus on family instead of their career? They're really telling about that in this video as if it was the most absurd thing in the world. These videos used to be fun when they contained real facts, and not some made-up bullshit that doesn't make any sense. This channel seems to be running out of ideas and celebrities to diss, and as a result, the videos are visibly forced and fake. Cut the crap, Nicki!
@evakaye58976 жыл бұрын
Thats literally what the video said. It said that she prefers smaller roles in family friendly movies, but they never said that's a bad thing. Your take seems to be that Hallmark is a white elephant burial ground. I see great actors that aren't cast, for one reason or ten others, in Hollywood's limelight. In regard to the cast of thousands, whose sick souls have been brought to light in recent scandals, I don't mind that certain actors have distanced themselves from such crap. So, those whom Hollywood passes by, are shining on Hallmark! And young people, who are at their beginnings, are beginning to shine, without fear of molestation in return for a chance at a role. You may think less of Lacey Chabert, but I think more of her.

@jamesshunt51235 жыл бұрын
Roger Corman always managed to have a great deal of self-distance in his movies and he made some great satirical comment in them. They were often tongue-in-cheek and guerrilla film makers. As such they're low budget but clever. A devout Christian has zero self-distance and only understands "absolute truths" derived from an old book written back when people were ignorant and primitive (especially in Judea which literally was the arm pit of Antiquity). As such they're lower than any B-movie and shouldn't be mentioned in the same breath as Roger Corman.

I love Hallmark movies, who cares what Hollyweird says and I love Lacey too. You have to sell your soul to Satan to be an A list * Star * so Lacey is just fine doing what she's doing. Kudos to you Lacey
