We are in Q2 and many people are still considering which state or city they are relocating too. Charlotte, NC is the 15th largest city in America and is one of the fastest growing cities in America. However, I have seen many people leave within the 4 years I have been here. In this video I go into some of the reasons people are leaving Charlotte NC.

I’m originally from NC, but not Charlotte. Ya’ll did a great job of breaking down Charlotte. People ask me all the time why I didn’t move to Charlotte as I’m from NC. This video explains it! I use to spend a lot of time in Charlotte back in the college days. It’s a nice city, but it’s just not there for me! I agree a lot with the sister in green! Im in Texas as well. Last thing, Charlotte is too expensive to live for what it is. Had it been cheaper than Atlanta, Houston and Dallas, people would consider it more. Those cities offer way more for basically the same price and Dallas and Houston have no state income tax!

I moved to Charlotte from New Jersey in 2007. I have literally seen the city grow. It is now a transplant city and I think that is the reason why Charlotte doesn't have an identity. Charlotte is a chill city and not a party city. If you want a party vibe I would suggest Atlanta. I believe Charlotte has it areas that are catered to different age ranges.

@EJIMANnenaNgozi The identity was already established before the transplants got their. When I think Atlanta you got Freaknik, soul food, black Hollywood, black entrepreneurs, the Olympics etc. Houston I've never been but I heard about the car culture, well off black people. All I knew about Charlotte was the Hornets, Panthers, and being called the baby Atlanta.

I watched the replay and I’m still going to give Charlotte a chance. Houston is too much for me. I’m not a party person and I need to ease my way into the Texas vibes and heat! Charlotte is a good starter place for me. I’m from Delaware so anywhere would be a good upgrade for me. Nice video ladies 🙌🏾❤

Charlotte has a lot of transplants and that can be why the culture is the way that it is . Plus most of Charlotte in the city parts felt like a ghost town when I was there, too many college kids where I was.

It's between Houston and Charlotte for a long while now. I'm always hearing about only Charlotte prices going up not Houston. I'm a spoken word artist, thinking Houston would be better as well.
