I think there’s another way to go into this. In the second phone call in FNAF 3, phone guy mentions that the springlock suits are designed to go towards audio cues when they hear it, just like the animatronics in Ruin, when we play audio to lure them to different areas. Meaning when Springtrap goes toward the Balloon Boy voice, that’s not Afton moving, it’s the suits AI following its programming (despite being 30 years old). Given in the frights book series, Aftons soul is described as weak, so him transferring his soul would probably be hard to do. So after the fire, the suit would have had some damage, so Afton decides to fix himself up, by ripping off some of the old parts, and replacing it with new parts. FNAF 4, night 4 Mini game has Crying Child in a room with parts, and we see a Springbonnie head with buck teeth, which could mean Afton went to Fredbears to fix himself. Given the springlocks crushed Aftons flesh, it’s not far off to think that during the process of Afton taking off the old parts, his flesh probably came off as well, which explains why we see some chunks of flesh on ScrapTrap, with lots of bone. As for the heart beat that you mention at 5:55, that could be Michael’s heart beat, but I’d have to revisit Pizza Sim to see if I’m wrong. Overall, your theory is cool, as always. I dont think the heartbeat is Michael's because in FNAF 6 minigames, each of the salvage animatronics have sound cues to jndicate when their rising in aggression. The heartbeat only plays in Scraptrap's salvage, the others have different sound cues.

The fact that his heart IS BEATING goes on to show that Afton NEVER DIED in the first place! Remnant kept him alive! Or rather, a spirit kept him alive. Whether if he was regenerated or not (which wouldn't be too far-fetched, as we see Remnant doing crazier things than that). We see a very similar situation in The Man In Room 1280, in which Afton is kept alive by a spirit. The spirit that haunts him is the one using their Remnant to keep him alive, and torment him. Why did his body decay? Well, because the Remnant that heals is the Brights Remnant, the one made out of positive feelings, emotions and memories. Meanwhile, when someone is kept alive by Dark Remnant, like Afton in TMIR1280, their body won't regenerate. Quite the oppposite actually. Dark Remnant is like poison, it keeps you alive, but it damages you and makes your body decay, never letting you get the mercy of dying. However, why did his body change? I'll say why I don't agree with your theory: if the corpse inside Scraptrap is from the guy from the FNAF 4 minigames, then his body is literally gone already. In 40 years, there would be barely anything left of you, or at least not a skeleton with flesh. His remains were probably found. And this is all under the assumption that the guy ACTUALLY died, and the brown things on the Fredbear suit aren't just wires or fur. To me, the most likely option is that Afton went back to the SL bunker, and got himself injected with Remnant. That would explain why Springtrap appears in the Ennard Vent Repair level of Help Wanted: becasue after the FNAF 3 fire, he went to the bunker and injected himself with Remnant. The Remnant in the Scooper would then allow him to re-grow his body. Also, the Scooper would've broken the Springtrap suit, and then Afton would have to forcefully find a replacement, hence explaining why he changed his suit instead of just going with a barely burnt Springtrap suit.

Spectacular theory, but it felt like it was missing the step from FNAF 3 to 6. I have a theory to bridge the gap. I believe you're right Willie did transfer to the other body. However since that body wasn't infused with remnant it actually decayed to the point of unusability. It's possible while he was in the second body he tried to rebuild his original spring lock suit exterior. He would have had to use scrap supplies to do that possibly from the non spring lock costume. That lore wise would get rid the non spring lock costume preventing someone from just dawning the old costume and being an exact copycat. Basically now there's only one classic yellow bonny and it's only William who comes back in it.

Man good theory but i’m pretty sure he just tried to switch suits but to get his original suit off he had to tear it off himself which since it was melted into him basically it damaged him quite a bit and by the time he got into the second suit he had already lost a arm and lots of his remaining body. I think you need to consider Burntrap from Security Breach and an unusual story from one of the spin-off books. In said book: there is a substance called fazgoo, it works by creating an exact copy of another person. I think it is reasonable to think remnant can regrow some amount of flesh and bone if you’re willing to draw parallels between the books and games.

I like this theory, as well as another assumption that the "new muscles and body" is actually the work of agony, as already worked in Fazbear Frights. But it's worth mentioning the same difference in design. William was dead in that suit for 30 years or whatever, depending on how long you count between his death and FNaF 3. And there are literally scraps of flesh and something like organs left from him, there are not even bones here. If we assume that the second suit already had the body of SpringlockDude (I'll call it that), then he was dead for 10 years more than Afton. Shouldn't there have been literally nothing left of his body under such "conditions"? And why would Fazbear Entertainment keep the corpses of random employees in suits? I don't even think there was anything like "hair in a suit" in the back room, if it was an adult employee, shouldn't his body, including his head, be completely visible?

There is one thing that I Wan’t to point out, Burntrap has parts of scraptrap and springtrap which I personally believe shows us that these two are the same body. What if williams own agony grew new flesh while his soul was still in the body, I mean we can see that in ITP that agony grew flesh inside of a Springbonnie suit which became ITP then. Considering the importance of color in the FNAF games, I theorize the mimic was built by the original owner of fredbears, mentioned in FNAF 2 only. His eyes glow orange, even when helpi is being controlled by the mimic. Orange. Midnight motorist showing this Orange Guy. Fredbears originally having zero animatronics, only after the buy out from Fazbear's did the two springlocks get built to "combine" ideas. He rushed to compete before the buy out, making an advanced self learning animatronic, neglected his son, son got killed by a drunk driver, took it out on the mimic, etc.

the theory about the two body's make a lot of sense because this would also explain the burntrap design (it being not linked to scraptrap) the scraptrap design is the one that william murdered but springtrap and burntrap is acturally williams body as this would explain the burnt and charred look of burntrap, this could also link to where glitchtrap was created. maybe when william was transfering his soul to the new body, he also make a didgital version of his soul, leaving it with the broken suit. this also could explain the new claws (presumably from glamrock bonnnie) as his suit needed fixing.

Y’know, this would also explain Burntrap’s appearance! It’s more Springtrap than Scraptrap, so maybe Will’s original body managed to get to the Fnaf 6 pizzeria (either by Henry/Michael or a 3rd party, or maybe it just started walking on its own idk) and later be found by Vanny. This would also explain why someone managed to get Will’s circuit boards BEFORE his body was recovered! Scraptrap might not have been buried by the building’s collapse, but it seems the original body was…

I have a headcanon that after the fire he stumbled out and into the Funtime bunker to get the suit Mike was in on night 4 as its in a mutch higher quality than the old rotting and burnt suit he was in. Expecting the Funtimes to help him change suits, little did he know they escaped. So he tries changing on his own, whitch was hard so he butchered the both himself and the suit and himself, he probably had spare bodies lying around, maybe he used the kids left inside the funtime endos after the scooping or a worker to complete his mangled form, after all of it he managed to change suits but he mangled his old body, merged with a new one and scrapped the suit

What if the Springtrap we see in FNaF 3 is this other guy? The guy inside doesn't have a full corpse after all, just residue and a skull, while Afton in FNaF 6 is obviously a guy in a suit, who knew how to mitigate the damage. There's no dialog in FNaF 3, so nothing tying the guy chasing you to any name. Just some minigames that suggest that what we see in the game is what happened to Afton, and that the guy chasing you died similarly. Maybe this is just like the previous two games, where rather than playing an active part in the story, the player is just haunted by the collateral damage.

No, it's utter bullcrap. I don't think William has the power to transfer his SOUL to another body. When a person dies in FNAF, their soul melds with the thing they died in. Scraptrap CAN'T be a backup suit. It's just Scott changing the design slightly for, uh, whatever reason.

I am certain Scott refers only to the suit. William inside has not changed, rather got a redesign. Because in Springtrap very little was visible from anything other than the head, even that only in poor lighting in rare images, Scott didn't bother modelling the body of William. It was just an endoskeleton with flesh on it, and that was enough to sell the idea. But once he got to Scraptrap where more of his body was visible, he tried making an actual body. it is kind of like Fnaf 1 vs Fnaf 2 animatronics, the originals and the withered ones are canonically the same exact animatronics (we got even further confirmation of this from Into the Pit as it takes place before 1987, Fnaf 2, and the animatronic designs are that of Fnaf 1) however they got a redesign for Fnaf 2 when withered. Not sure what the reason behind is that, but in universe, they are the same animatronics. Just Fnaf 1 had them repaired.

if anyone believes fnaf 3 takes place after sister location you must believe remnant has some regenerative properties, mike in fnaf three has heavied breathing sometimes, the only way he could breathe after having his lungs scooped in SL is if they grew back with magic ghost metal, im not as sure about this. but when you pass out (like in pizzeria simulator) it is because the hot air becomes less dense and rises, keeping you from getting enough oxygen, causing your body to fail, so fnaf 6 also has a mechanic related to breathing, therefore in that game mike definitely regenerated his lungs after being scupped and injected with remnant in fnaf SL

Watching your videos has created an interesting theory in my head that after fnaf 3 Afton would move his soul to a new body (maybe found in an abandoned Fredbear's or Circus baby's pizza world location) which is why he looks so different in pizza sim, then later on after possessing Vanessa he brings he to the remains of Fazbears frights where his old body was discovered under rubble and was upgraded with Glamrock parts to be used for BurnTrap which is why there's just a skull and flessy tendrils and not bones within Burntrap's body as it more resembles Springtrap's corpse rather than ScrapTrap's corpse that wasn't even Afton's (which explains the more "complete" body as it wasn't powered by dark remnant until being possessed), this would explain why Burntrap's skull has burned patches, scars and boils as it came from the fnaf 3 fire I really hope this theory made sense please let me know your thoughts after reading this

My theory is maybe the heavy amounts of bloods and fluids in general caused the suit to bloat severely but the fire he managed to avoid but the heat evaporated all the fluids shrinks him and the bone is just simply more flesh falling away and the sharp teeth are pins to hold teeth in place in case teeth tended to be replaced when the teeth rubbed together and the buck teeth are just coincidentally still just there
