Yhwach engaging in a self indulgent fight with his son born in darkness was a highlight as was Ryuuken holding that silver in front of the photo of his family. The King getting his name back is meaningful given it and virtually everything else of him was erased so the ancestors could dictate.

one thing that this episode got me thinking about is what Ukitake meant all the way back In Soul Society when he said that Aizen joined the Menos, and if he meant the very first Hollows somehow and how that connects to Yhwach and Reio, either way these are really exciting times for Bleach Lore.

I appreciate how ethereal Reio is. At the very center of all this, yet so far away at the same time. Usually gods of verse are depicted in predictable goofy ways in shonen but not here. It’s a bit spooky in a sense. Same with Yhwach. He was gracious scrapping with ichigo like that lmao. Then the eyes open and idk. His demeanor changes every time. Like his father, it’s spooky.

I really like how the anime (with input from Kubo) is really enhancing the last arc of Bleach (while cutting parts that are more comedic or just repeating the same stuff from before) so they can add in these anime only scenes that enhance and expand on the lore of Bleach.

4:30 I really like the additon to the anime where Yhwach clarifies that to completely shatter the Soul King Seal (and kill him) he needed someone hwo had the powers of Quincy (it seems that the order is Yhwach personal list as Quincy is his race) Human (this seems to imply that Ichigo being a living person factors in) Soul Reaper(substitute Soul Reaper) Fullbring(despite losing his Fullbring trace amounts of his FullBring still remain inside of Ichigo) Hollow(something unique to Ichigo as his Soul Reaper and Hollow Powers are manifested by the same spirit) aka he NEEDED Ichigo to be the one to stop him (and could foresee he would go to the Soul Palace with the Almighty) so he could force Ichigo to finish the job.

6:00 i really liked the anime fight where Yhwach (seemingly to test where Ichigo is and to humour him with a 'fair fight') deactivates the Almighty and gets overpowerred but as soon as his eyes awaken again he overpowers Ichigo in Shikai without any trouble again (but still Ichigo does much better then before where he used his fake Bankai showing just how much more powerful a true Shikai is then a fake Bankai for Ichigo and Ichigo getting the training from the SOul Palace)

The biggest villian is Ichibe. He let Ichigo go to Soul King knowing that Ichigo is the only person who can kill the Soul king. The final requirement of Yhwach. He does not care about what happens as long as there is a Soul King candidate

YES! I was totally immersed in this ep. You perfectly captured the intensity and depth of these new additions. Honestly, seeing Yhwach and Ryū’s dynamic evolve through the flashbacks, especially with the Adonis reveal, adds so much dimension to the story. It’s like the anime took what the manga hinted at and ran with it, giving us a more visceral experience. And that fight? I’m with you-it was epic! Ichigo’s growth, from his first encounter to now, is jaw-dropping. The way they’ve set up future conflicts has me *hooked*.

I have a Theory: In the scene where Yhwach is in the lake, & is part of that ritual, there are 3 swirls. Is it safe to assume that each swirl represents a person in each world who may be his familiar or siblings? Yhwach for Human world One for Soul Society One for Hueco Mundo When he refers to Adnyeus as in Coffin of Adnyeus, he also says Eye of Agate. Is it safe to say, Agate could be one of Yhwach's Siblings or familiar who's a pillar for either Hueco Mundo or Soul Society? 🤔

It makes so much sense on why yhwach is present before the worlds split. Quincies don’t fit anywhere after adnyeus divided the three worlds. That’s why they disturb the balance and that’s why he hates the soul king so much. He foresaw everything and still chose to create a world where his son and the rest of the quincies were ostracized and killed.

It is clear to me that the name Adoneus is an alternative way of saying Adonai, the Hebrew "non sacred" name for YHWH. Adoneus being the public name of god and Yhwach being the secret, ineffable name of god.

Oh? I'm pretty sure it is a sword. It looks like a Chinese Warring States period Jian or a really old Japanese straight Trurugi. The blade shape and handle are the exact same as the old bronze and iron jians.

I thought it was close to a perfect episode. Pacing was fantastic animation was gorgeous the storytelling was magnificent. The only problem I really had was the music but that's been my concern for tybw. Otherwise fantastic episode. The problem with that is that if Ichigo was sent to kill Adnyeus, that would make everybody think that he's the one who wanted to take him down. There's no way he would willingly accept being the new soul king if he knew about what his true purpose was. He would feel betrayed and lied to, but of course if he were to turn on the soul society, they would forcibly have to kill him and erect him as the new soul king, leaving him ultimately powerless to stop it and bear with the truth forever

Even if Squad Zero, Central 46, Ichibei and Kyoraku lied and manipulate him, if he knows thats the only way to save his family (even if Ichibei is evil in novel is said that he didnt think that Ywach will absorb Soul King - so when Ywach do that Ichibei choose to spare Ichigo from Soul King fate) Orihime, Chad, High School gang, Rukia, Renji he will agree. The same situation with Aizen - this wasnt Ichigo role to sacrifice his powers but he choose to do that to save everyone. That is Ichigo - "The One Who Protect"

"Adyneus" looks like an anagram. If one of sufficient power were ever to evoke the true name, then "Adyneus"'s constituent parts would be made whole again. As Ichibee told Ichigo, as it is he who is in charge of names.

My main point of the argument tho is Ichigo destroying Kirchenlied: Sankt Zwinger which is the Quincy king ultimate spell of defense and offense which once you step in gods light it will obliterate you and Yama needed to summon the dead back with his bankai just to get around it while ichigo in base just straight up obliterate it with his getsuga jujisho, straight up destroying it with raw power

As a dying-heart fan of Bleach I can say that the entire ep. is the latest piece of dogs""t. Useless fight took 90% of the ep., replicas by Ichigo are not even naive but really misplaced and childish, with his battle experience, how can he behave like his 15 y.o. version? The action is generally so boring and predictable, i don't know how even Bleach fans can praise this sequence... Even if they'd shown the proper Ychwe's 5-7 min. flashback with a Soul King, it would've been better. Hope Aizen'll save all this.

I think a lot of people confuse animation with art style. That’s why they say the animation was peak even though it wasn’t. It was good but not incredible so to speak. Most people are likely referring to how everything looks (the art style) which is awesome
