Hey Mikey, obviously you are bringing on some hard bottom maybe rocks. I’ve tried to grind some plugs here in FL and it just hasn’t worked with the soft bottoms. Too often they come back with slime. Is there a true trick to making that work in FL?

When it comes to Florida you either have to find that shell bottom or sometimes in the canals there's riprap along the banks otherwise some of the artificial structures near water control Gates and things like that are pretty good as well. The other thing when it comes to Florida is fishing more Square Bill style lures that don't actually grind the bottom and instead having them tick the grass almost like a Chatterbait

I don't know man Ive watched some of these guys fishing crankbaits and the majority of people I see are fishing them way too slow and honestly if you're not trying to break your line in the rod when you're fishing these things in summer you're not getting the bites that you can.
