A valid point and objection that I also wrestled with when first coming to understand these teachings. As you contemplate it, consider this: the “thou art” statement Peter makes is to the one who is IN him, not to anyone on the outside. It’s an acknowledgement by ego that ego is not the Christ, but the I AM inside you is the Christ. Be blessed brother. “The Lord your God is within you, a mighty savior.” Zephaniah 3:17 “I AM the Lord, and besides me there is no savior.” Isaiah 43:11

@@Matt_Parks it’s still a mystery to me the kingdom of God is within you definitely right now I know I’m not God. I can praise God I kill worship God thank Kim but asking for things is coming hard because I need the answer right away I can’t sit there and wait while my bills pile up

@@rickprince3765 kind of you to be vulnerable. I know that’s a difficult place for anyone to be. I’m not sure if this will be encouraging, but I’ll share in case it is. A few months ago I had a dream that I was having a garage sale. At one point, a lady came up to my driveway, grabbed a bunch of the luggage I had for sale, and started walking away with it. She was stealing my stuff. I got very emotional about it in my dream, and tried to confront her but she threw it in a car and left. Point #1) that lady who stole from me existed nowhere outside of me. She was a projection of my own mind. This is what I believe is meant by the scripture, “no one can come unto me unless the father in me draws him”. This lady came into my world (in my dream). This particular example is of a dream, but I also approach this “waking” world the same (and have various struggles at various times here). Point #2) When I woke up I contemplated why I dreamed of a lady who was stealing from me, and I realized that I had a mindset of lack within me. This mindset of lack was actually causing an entire dream reality to get created so that I could witness the result of this lack-mindset… not so it could scare me, but so it could make me aware that inner work was needed. It was my check-engine light, so to speak. So now I’m grateful that she stole from me because it helped me become aware of an internal thought-pattern that I needed to address. I won’t pretend to know why this situation may be coming into your life - that’s for you to inquire your own heart about. But I will say that if you choose to sit with your realities and deeply inquire within yourself as to why they are coming into your world, you may find yourself seeing them as a blessing. Conjure up the feelings of abundance within you to the point where you actually feel the joy of abundance, then continue to rest in that within yourself despite whatever your external world is telling you.

One of my favorite scriptures. If you think anyone else’s I AM is the Christ, that is deception because Christ is in you. Only your own I AM is to be considered the Christ. “Unless you believe that I AM, you will die in your sin.” John 8:24 “On that day you will realize… that I AM in you.” John 14:20
