I'm not a chef but a great home cook. I did a leftover after thanksgiving (non traditional) kind of casserole with layers of potato, our leftover cajun pork loin, ham, a few other things thrown together with a cheese sauce I made. Was it delicious? Yes. Will I ever be able to recreate that recipe? No. It was what I had on hand and I'll never have that combo in my house again. Sometimes those are the best dishes. But the thing that separates the home cooks is knowing what works and throwing it all together.

With an Italian last name, I always considered myself pretty Italian (my great grandpa came to the US from Italy to mine copper and insisted on a wife from Italy), but I think I'm actually less Italian than Frenchie 🙁

I have to disagree with Frenchy. Social media is something you can pass down. It just depends on the marketing. So, instead of having the social media focus on your name, base it on the topic. You can do the soft handshake where you bring them along for a few years and you slowly fade into the bushes without anyone mentioning the withdraw. My family has had massive farms and not taking care of the farms were never in the vocabulary. Even with horrific federal policy and soap opera like backstabbing most of the farms are still in the family. (the estate tax kills more family farms than anything else. Corporate farms don't have to worry about the estate tax.)

Brian goes, "now you're going to confuse all of our listeners, it's the Fourth of July." And then Frenchie responds, "Christmas in July."
