Girl!! I get shin splints too UNTIL my boyfriend actually taught me how to run. You don’t run heel-toe, you go ball of your foot first. I’m not kidding you, I run a mile every day now without ANY shin pain. It took a bit to get used to but now that I know how to run I hate it much less. I hope this helps! You look awesome and love love watching your journey 🧡

I used to suffer from shin splints when i was younger and sometimes from time to time ill get them again. Ive learned that sitting on ur legs on a mat helps stretch those muscles to help prevent them. The more u lean back the more intense the stretch is. You look amazing btw. Ypu absolutely rock!

Asics are really nice shoes. I wear the Asics gel contend 8. I think the reason why Asics are so comfy is because they use amplifoam to cushion the inside, especially around the arch of the foot.

I read somewhere that or if not have heard that someone combated shin splints by turning their toes slightly in when they ran, they also have sleeves that go on your legs for shin splints

🌴🌺 I love all your blogs and I’ve been meaning to comment. I usually watch them while I’m in the gym and then you have so many good moments. I want to comment on and then I forget what it was. Thank you for taking us through your journey, I will be at that point in about, nine weeks. Another “why” moment to finish this prep strong and win is because Ive invested in products, spray tan, makeup day of the show and most important time. Meal prep time, gym time, will power to stay on track!!! Girl I’m saying all this because I know you get it. I had to go to a podiatrist because my toes were always messed up and they told me that and it cured it! ASICS are my favorite for running too ❤

Amazing video Julia! looking INCREDIBLE 🥺💕💕💕💕💕💪 have you tried making oatmeal pancakes??? They are amazing! All you need is a blender or food processor and blend up: 2 eggs,1.5cup of oats, 0.5 cup of oatmilk or any milk, 1/2tsp of cinnamon, 1/2tsp of salt, 1/2tsp baking powder ! And a splash of any sweetener ! That’s it! I top it off with mashing up blueberries and a Splenda with water to make a jam to top it off and oh my goodness it taste amazing!

I was a competitive bodybuilder in late 80’s/early 90’s Such a valuable experience and foundation for EVERYthing else in life “Discipline is Freedom” as Jocko says YOU are so special and awesome Thanks for sharing all this with the world Exceptional work… -the different content you share -the editing is so fun -you are real … and share the ups and down in such a cute and inspiring way -your body is AMAZING! It is challenging to be someone who builds easy but gets lean with more effort. I would t change it. WOW!! So fun to see that INCREDIBLE shape emerge. (Just a thought have you looked into Latex sensitivity and other food sensitivity? For the shin splints - sit down after your run - ice them.. in track we would take an ice cube and run it up and down til it melted on each leg …. Every run. Then make sure your stretching really good in the beginning and even more in the end…

I’m genuinely curious why you are running … doesn’t running flatten your glutes? Or are you trying to downsize your quads? Maybe try running outside if your shin splints continue… treadmills will only make it worst

I love the treadmill and am not the biggest fan of the Stairmaster. In regards to your shin splints, you may want to change your foot strike. Try striking at the ball of the feet instead of the heel.

Hi Julia hope you see this comment a few days ago after a home workout with weights during the day before work, I experienced a muscle spasm like never before on my lower back and left leg very crippling, this was during the night, its been 3 days im still with pain but still exercising.
