Watford fan here, our owners treated him so bad and lied; Luton got a great hungry manager and backed him. He and the club (all rivalries aside) deserve what comes their way. They were a joy to watch in the PL and I genuinely wish him and the club the very best. Patience is a virtue Pozzo should learn. Good luck to Rob, a true gentleman in the modern game, but above all, a fantastic human being.

@@razaaahmad03 I think we've got a good chance to go straight back up. Luton has retained most players who have done well in the Prem. We got a few good transfers in, like Baptiste. It's gonna be tough to get back into the PL, not because there's anything wrong with Luton, but because the competition is so desperate as well, and I think there are some bigger spenders in the pool. I enjoyed watching televised PL games on the tiny pitch at Kenilworth Road immensely, and I cherish the pyramid in European football for the pure spectacle that it is. I hope the multi club ownership model, which strikes me as a form of monopolization that could starve out the smaller market clubs, doesn't destroy it or gets regulated out of the game before it does.

Luton got 26 points from 38 games. That is not a team that `nearly' stayed up. They would have finished bottom of the league in most years and relegated every single season of the premier league on that points tally. It was a terrific achievement to to get to the prem, but 26 points is nothing to shout about.

Still outperformed two far bigger spenders, if we would of been relegated comfortably in other seasons than Burnley and Sheffield would of had no hope at all!
