Brilliant lads - I was fortunate enough to have a few beers with Nicky other week in Hale after Liverpool game. Often get told never to meet your hero(s). Wary I’d had several beers by the point Nicky arrived and not wanting to piss off a legend he could have told me to f*ck off but instead I got to have a conversation with him and grab a photo. A legend of the game and our club but above all incredibly grounded and modest. A proper gent. Cheers for the Peroni’s Nicky! 🙌

When Scholes was playing he was the last player you'd expect to go on and be a pundit because he was a man of very few words, but he's great, honest and doesn't try and over sensationalise everything, and obviously no one could have predicted he'd have a podcast and KZbin channel. NB is the United player you constantly hear being apart of all the hijinks but rarely hear his side of the story, really excited with this.

I was on deansgate up on a shop doorway roof and it was pandemonium. We were all pissed, people were just walking into off licenses and just helping themselves to beer. One of the best few days of my life, i was at the semi and the final in the cup and at old trafford for the tottenham game. Only one i missed was the trip to barca coz my dad wanted to go with his mates, we didnt see him for 4 days after. To this day i have no idea where he ended up, he won't say, he just showed up in the middle of the night with a scarf for me singing his head off. A brilliant time to be a red

@FootkerSnooballАй бұрын
Yeah they were both deserved not just for his contributions in those particular campaigns but also for all his great performances and goals during many champions league campaigns, 2 CL's was the least he deserved he was robbed of a few others including 2004 where he was played onside by 4 Porto players but flagged offside that would've been his 2nd goal to go 2-0 up on the night and that particular season would've been a rare CL campaign where the route was pretty easy (hence Porto being able to go on and win it) and he could've played a CL final in his prime which he never got to do which people don't think about when they try to put various players ahead of him in debates I.e Gerrard, Lampard etc...
