I recently went from 26% body fat to 9% by cycling and looked the best ever in my life. Lost my fat belly after years of running on a treadmill and got to ideal weight. Then went to a family gathering and absolutely everyone - all overweight - started commenting how ill I looked and should start putting the weight on again. I eventually lost it and walked into the room they were all sitting in and told everyone to shut up and mind their own business and to sort their fat bodies out before commenting on mine. Since that day no one has said anything again and left me alone. Stick up for yourselves and throw it back if they hassle you.

@XaliberDeathlock. I am Indian and agree with what you say. There is the assumption in the Indian community that thick bodies = good and slim and fit = bad. Their concern may be genuine but doesn’t get away from the fact it is flawed and bad. Majority of them suffer from diabetes and other issues brought on by their weight and the fact they then try and knock my efforts to get fit and go their way is wrong and they need to be told.

@@pravinshingadia7337 i know what you're talking about and actually agree with you. i just thought there are better ways to say it. i'm imagining the kind of overreactive grandmas and aunties who actually mean well (i'm asian, but we're similar in that regard). they're just concerned their grandson/nephews are not "fit"/"healthy" according to their definition. the way i did it, i just told them kindly in the past thick bodies were fine because most people had to do hard labor and walk around a lot. so there's something that can compensate that ideal kind of bodies. today we live a mostly sedentary lifestyle, just sitting in front of the computer all day doing work. it's no longer healthy to be thick because of that lifestyle. and there are other ways to appear "large" without having fat all over our bodies. they usually understand.

There was a case in my gym where a girl, let carl her anna was taking picture on the mirror while doing some poses. She was extremely fit, was a well known person at really positive in terms of motivating other to go to the gym and search for their best forms. One day of her pictures, a second woman, lets call her Karen, saw her and demanded to see the manager ( so the gym was not that big is my favorite and has everything u need and the manager well, was the husband of Anna lol), she said that the girl was fatshaming her for taking pictures of herself and making her feel insecure and unconfortable. The end of the story ended as the Karen leabing the gym angry, saying everyone is stupid and that she will never come back again. Recent Inoticed Anna is not taking her usual pictures in the mirror, its sad to see how people will adress they insecurities to others, with a idealization of - Its easier for her, thats because of genetics, its because shes not tall, its because her life is easier than me- I heard everything especially on the girls side. Body dismorphia is dangerous, have a sister that on the pandemic reached 39 kg, and considered herself fat. Its all about searching for your ideal body phisique and working around with whats best or u and your body. Dont be a Karen, if u want to change, do it, try, endure your thoughts and go, but if you dont, is not up to you to determinate if somene is up to your own standarts. If anything both genders should be slim regardless if exrecise or not its more in diet than how much ppl train, its harder than it looks tho, im already skinnyfat getting older now.... its not easy to eat so little carbs your body needs to rly adapt even your stomach to smaller meals. but i guess once you do ANYTHIGN long enough you wont notice it anymore.

I have 21 inch waist got to told be bigger. I have unsightly fat rolls due to to that fit shaming and lack of sleep. I hate my bones. I have 30 inch hips. I'm fxxd up looking. I have to clip my bumbags shut with carbiners as they bounce open and get extremely angry when anything falls out.
