Hi Dave I enjoy your KZbin programs miss you on GYC of course. Just wondering I have a 1970 Plymouth Satellite it came with power 4 wheel drums brakes. I had a shop install 4 piston Wildwood disc brakes with new wildwood master & a new vacuum as well. But engine was only providing around 10 inches of vacuum so I ended up installing a vacuum pump so now has good 16-25 inches of vacuum. But some reason the brake pedal is still a bit hard and doesn’t stop like I’m used to. Shop trying to tell me that’s just the way these old cars are. Would you have any suggestions on what I could check on etc? Thanks Garry

If it has an 8 inch duel diaphragm booster those tend to have a little stiffer pedal, also you will need the 1 1/8 bore on the master for power brake, so if it's a small that could be an issue as well.

@@DavidReaDBRestorations thanks Dave I did have the 1”1/8 bore master on it but the shop told me it was way to big & what they felt part of issue was. So they downed it to 1” bore & said they would have preferred 5/8ths but couldn’t find one. I still have the 1 1/8” bore so perhaps I’ll try that back again. I got the only booster available. I did see a suggestion to perhaps try a larger GM booster

@@DavidReaDBRestorations Hi Dave What size Booster would you recommend & what supplier would you get it from? Thanks

Dave, what are you doing for a fuel tank baffle and return line for the EFI upgrade? Thinking about doing one on my 73 RR.

I'm running a factory fuel tank with a Spectra electric in tank fuel pump with 3/8 fuel line and a 5/16 return line.
