The last one is wrong. Ships that convoy up are not protected targets as it makes it impossible for a combatant to to inspect all ships in accordance to cruiser rules. Its illegal to sink merchant ships travelling alone without warning. Convoy are game

So from what the Red Cross claimed I've committed war crimes playing various versions of the Command and Conquer series, Warhammer 40k Dawn of War, Call of Duty Modern Warfare, and Civilization Series. Wow, I don't know where to feel conflicted (I used Nukes to solve most o my disputes in Civilation inculding the current one when they ignored my peace treaties, In Dawn of War I played races that would laugh at the Red Cross before sacrificing them to their dark gods to the phrase ""Blood for the Blood God!", as for Modern Warfare and Command and Conquer... I've successfully waged a nuclear offensive war once, and only got nuked once. Every single offensive began with modded scouts that can cross borders uninvited identifying enemy troops concentrations and strong points. Terrestrial missile silos and nuke subs would then launch ICBMs to nuke these targets into oblivion, with a follow-up mass incursion by hordes of cyborg infantry, giant robots, railgun tanks and swarms of air superiority drones and suborbital bombers. God, I love modded Civ 5. I've since then given up on nukes, and disable them at game start. I don't like getting nuked, and they make wars too easy.

Conducting medical experiments on POWs is frowned on, as is torture, so... XCOM? I think using flamethrowers as antipersonnel weapons might also be one, so pretty much any entry in the C&C franchise. One of the treaties/conventions bans "expanding ammunition" in personal weapons (hollow-points and explosive-tipped ammo), though I'm struggling to think of a game granular to the point of deciding between what rifle and sidearm ammo types get issued to uniformed soldiers. Mass Effect had several fun "Geneva Checklist" options, but SPECTREs (and their goons) are specialty law enforcement/Inquisitors, not soldiers.

It's a very cool initiative to familiarize as many people as possible and from as young an age as possible with the laws of war. Of course, they could do it in some better and more thoughtful way, but I like this anyway. In order for it to really make sense, game developers should also take part in it and, for example, modify the game for the time of such "event".

Yeah, in concept the idea of a no war crimes game challenge is a fun way to get people to think about war crimes and draw attention to the issues going on around the world, unfortunately, and hilariously predictably, The Red Cross did exactly what I expected of them and the reason why I only give to religious charities, and even then I don’t give unless I’m sure they’re really serious about actually doing something, as usual they’re doing the minimal amount to get coverage and the benefits of people seeing that you care without actually doing anything, if this was an event across multiple games it might actually begin a true conversation about the War crimes being committed right now, and possibly even an advancement that might actually lead to something helpful in preventing war crimes in the future, but that would take work so instead we get this great joke video.😂😭🤣

Too bad the only way to get points in FPS games is to kill the enemy. If you don't kill a wounded enemy, they will self heal in a few seconds and be back in the game. Same thing with soldiers in distress, like escaping a downed jet with a parachute. The game rewards you for shooting them while they're in the air.

well After 50 years I started to feel like I was losing my sanity so I started to break my fingers and I would just break my fingers and set them again. I started breaking all my bones. I broke every bone in my hands. I broke my arms, seperately, and then I started to break my own ribs. I broke my femurs, it took a while. And then I healed and broke them again. After 5000 years my bones were all scar tissue. They had all grown so solidly back together that I was unable to move. And after another 5000 years of furious infintesimal movement, I built up enough muscle mass to spontaneously break any bone in my body, and then I could move again. My body had done so much healing that I healed almost instantly. That is all I do now. Every time I move my body, my bones shatter and heal back into my next shape. If I take a single step every bone in my legs splinters and then reforms. I don't know what pain is because I have been alive for 10 million years.

The cluster munitions part is a bit more nuanced than a flat out no. It also depends on the amount of control one has over them, and their failure rate. For example, US cluster mines such as RAAM, and ADAM do have a means of monitoring from soldiers, and after a certain point become inert or self destruct. US cluster munitions are also very reliable and have a very low failure rate, meaning that very few of them are likely to end up as UXO (un-exploded ordinance). The remote link also changes the classification of certain mines into "weapons systems" because not only is the location known, but now a measure of control exists over when the munition is detonated, EX: the M18 Claymore.
