I was born in 1963 and grew up in small town New Hampshire.... this has always been very relatable... my best friends dad was from Moncton Canada and dressed exactly like Red but back in the 70's …. chainsaws in the background, snowmobiles parked all over.... back yard mechanics... we built many dangerous things with engines on them when I was a teenager....

I really enjoy and appreciate the Canadians ability to poke fun at the U.S. and even themselves. Canada has a sense of humor unsurpassed. p.s. I wondered whether Red would call the hand winch a "come-a-long". That's what my dad and I called it when we worked fixing automobiles.

The writing for the Hap character was awesome but they kinda failed here at the end. To so directly challenge Hap's character with a stunt that would destroy his paradigm would possibly be fatal to the character's existence. We do, but even countries that use the Metric system simply convert the inch into mm. Otherwise, why would ICs have 2.54 mm center to center lead spacing? Or a 48.26cm width for rack mounted equipment? My last job was at a company that built specialized Telemetry electronics. We sold and shipped to countries that claimed not to allow the import of non metric based equipment, yet we never had a problem.
