I find his story fascinating, and I really like how it has acquired some mythological qualities. "Didn't you know? This is the grave of Mats Steen. He had this rare condition and passed away at 25, but he helped so many people, that he's still remembered all this years after he died".

I just finished watching the movie on Netflix. I'm a gamer but I have never played WoW, I'm thinking about installing it just to go pay my respects to Ibelin. He's a good man! and I admire him for that.

I just visited the marker. It is difficult to explain to those that do not understand the bonds that are formed in WOW. For Azeroth!

Watching this doc.. Changed me. I always looked at my time in Azeroth as a waste, but then I seen this and realized, over 20 years of Warcraft, how many lives have I impacted? All the friends, the enemies, the little gnomes we met along the way. FeelsGoodMan, RIP Ibelin.

humans are real, always. no matter what suffering one has to go through, or "none", they are humans, not your inspiration beyond anything else. words "not aware" because of having any disability are always cruel, doesnt matter if its your parent telling you that or a random stranger.

I have met a best friend, made many friends, made some enemies, lost friends who left the game, had a gf in game, she lived in Finland and was so sweet, also met my real life ex in WoW. But its the community and the escape that mean that much to me as i played WoW. But can't help but wish i knew Ibelin too as i think we would have been friends in game. But i guess he played Alliance and me being Horde it could never happen. RIP Mats/ Ibelin

Please be respectful. It’s pronounced, “Eee-bill-in” not “Eye-bill-in.” If you turn on the sound while watching the documentary, you can hear it over and over. 😊

Being disrespectful is just in your mind; him not pronouncing it "right" is not a tragedy, just a tiny little mistake, get over it.

I think his guild have put a video up of a walk they did in honour of him. I'm Horde and warmode but will visit it today so I just hope Ally players observe decency out of respect.

He might have some form or degree of social anxiety. I tend to say “like” a lot when i try to not be so slow when speaking english or when i cant find the right words to explain what i’m trying to say. English isnt my first language and i also suffer from social anxiety so it kinda resonates with me. Just be easy on others brother.
