One of my friends at school started a country, Bonnielyn. He declared himself the official dictator. Sadly he would hold this title for only half a day, his brothers had him over thrown. I had a talk with him and he agreed to sign a document officially giving his country to me. I renamed the country the republic of Bonnielyn and I gave it a new constitution witch named me the official emperor of the country. Now I’m working to rebuild Bonnielyn and bring it back to glory.

Actually, frozen chocolate chip cookie dough is a decent standard in the modern day, it's the perfect counterpart to gold. As someone planning on starting a micronation, one piece of advice I have for my fellow micronation citizens is to not have a military, and to remain peaceful. If your surrounding nation invades you, you are peaceful, so the government of the surrounding nation gets a bad rep for invading a peaceful country, and sectors of opinion will be hostile towards the government, and it will not work out for the surrounding government. And they will not invade anyway if you are peaceful and they are not malicious
