Thanks Peter, yeah show like this are really cool, well when you don't get everyone walking in front of your lens. You should go, they are great fun and also think it is great that I want to shoot, so I am making the most of it. I went to a smaller one today which was kinda cool, except the cars were too close together and after the last show I only too the 70-200mm doh! lol

Great shots Richard. Car shows are my passion and I love shooting old cars, I’m also a great fan of grass roots drag racing and use to attend many meets when I lived in Ontario. You’d love it over here the classic car scene is massive. This looked like a great show. 👍

I didn't know it was on till last minute, apparently the Americana show isn't on any more, so guess the rolled them into 1 show. Yeah i bet i would, they are such a cool subject to shot. Thank you, was great to feel the 'want' to shoot :)

Enjoyed seeing those B&W shots, never been to Newark, but looks interesting place to visit, all ways used to enjoy traction engine rallies and vintage car and lorry shows, particularly the old lorries

Newark is a nice old town with a great attraction of the show ground and air museum. There were a couple of traction engines at the show, but where they were didn't make for goo photos as they had caravans in the background. They hold lots of events on at the Newark show ground

Chris Pugh Photo, yep, the yanks sure did know how to make some of the most beautiful motors back in time, BUT NOW, their modern cars are a pile of dog turd, no road handling, low performance, everything is plastic, and they are as ugly as hell. What a complete 180* turn. That reminds me, I must go to Cuba soon, to see all those beautiful classic vintage American cars still running as normal.
