They're fantastic in a bivi bag so warm , I conect mine to my rucksack across my chest, it balances you up when walking, they weigh 3 kilos but if your only walking a couple of miles it's ok.

Thank You, for the review. You like the bag, is great. But some info, would be even better. How much does it weigh? What is the cold comfort rating? How well does it keep that rating, after days of damp, or wet? Is condensation an issue? Is it water resistant at all? (Like for under tarp camping). Double zip, for temp control, or single? Length, is there a long, and a medium length? How long is that? Cheers.

I was going to order the 58pattern bag from Prepare for Adventure but they didn't say the size 😔 Got a 1989 plash palatka from there and it was in mint condition.

Why has it been reviewed inside out 🤔 the thermal zip cover should be on the outside it would be a pain if needing to get out quick if the Velcro was used on the inside and the zip is only a one sided zip so that would be on the inside aswell 🧐 or am I missing something here 🙈

I see your point but it's the right way round it's a crash zip and the mesh pockets go in the in side. Looked at a few different videos them

The mesh pockets are on the inside for drying out damp and wet gloves. The Velcro is for attaching a liner 👍
