As a farmer in Ireland, I have the same problem with the double standards that is the EU. For example allowing food to be imported from countries that are allowed to use chemical products etc that we are not allowed to use to keep our price down. If the EU was genuine about caring for our planet we wouldn’t be importing food from Brazil where the rain forest is being destroyed. 8000 fires are burning in Brazil today and not a word about it and farmers in the EU are not allowed to burn bushes or hedge clippings. It’s insane.
