To be fair to Karl, the head story was probably about a French guy called Languille who was executed in 1905. Probably just nerves and coincidence but who knows...

"One meal for the rest of your life" isn't fair unless we get some rules. If I choose 'pizza' do I get to mix it up? Sushi? Burgers? You can pick something pretty vague and make out like a bandit. Aww, this one was so much fun! :) I can't imagine firefighters using monkeys, but if they ever were to do that, I can only think it'd be because it needs to climb higher than their ladders are able to stretch and there was absolutely no other way to get up to that floor. Still, one would think they'd have to train a monkey ahead of time so it'd do what they wanted it to do. The glass houses saying is one (another being "the grass is always greener on the other side") typically used to test a prison inmate's thinking, that is, whether it's concrete or not. If an inmate's--or any other person, of course, but I worked in a prison hospital--thinking is concrete, their answer to what the glass houses saying means would be something like "break the glass." I was a medical transcriptionist for many years, and I typed that answer in reports many, many times.
