Tommo I’ve been listening to them since the XFM days. Ricky didn’t create him. It started off they talk to him like 5 mins a show and his answers to questions were always funny so they just used him more and more and it got so popular with listeners that he turned into the main focus of the show

I'm pretty sure that letter they start to read is from me. I sent them an email back in the day and I'm half Inuit, but I can't remember what I wrote them about or if I even mentioned it, but there's a strong chance I did mention it so the letter would become more noteworthy to them. People view us as almost mythical in certain parts of the world and I'm always fascinated by that. I had one foot in the old way of life and one foot in the modern day, so I had a normal North American childhood for someone my age. I watched Ninja Turtles religiously and played NES/SNES far too much, but we also went ice fishing and ate stuff like seal and caribou 3-4 days out of the week. EDIT: There's a decent amount of half breed Inuit in Canada and we've been mostly modernized for a few decades now, so there's a chance it wasn't me as well. Without hearing the actual letter and being able to spark my memory, I don't want to sound so certain.

I love Karl, he’s naturally very funny but you can tell he’s not as stupid as he makes out. For instance when he’s talking about intestines being shorter, he mentions humans eating dinosaurs and, when Ricky and Steve don’t pick up on that, he mentions dinosaurs again. He’s giving them a chance to take the piss. (I know that’s come up before in a different episode though, Karl claiming that dinosaurs and man coexisted 😁)
