Nice video! I thought you did catch a carp on cut carp. I've done that once before out of a small community pond. I think they were just starving LOL my buddy owes me a bait rod for breaking it on our last trip! haha I've done exactly what you did before without the rod break. I know the saltwater guys have been using that rig for ever. If it works, it works!

River Certified I’ve seen them boil head quite a bit here. Bass guys get all excited and then don’t catch any 😂 Thankfully it was only like a $40 rod but he should. Thanks for always uploading and giving me reason to fish and edit! Haha the flat bite is starting to pick up a bit. I’m guessing you guys are all done over there? We are still in 90° days. Water temp is around 70-72 or so.

Most the carp i catch is while catfishing. I catch them on chicken breasts and 1/0 circle hooks of all baits and hooks. 2 or 3 a trip usually. Plain raw chicken breasts catches me alot of big channel cats and carp in ponds or small lakes. Awesome video

Fernando Vergara huge catfish are not fit to eat and it takes years to grow trophy fish. I love to eat small catfish in the 1-3lb range. Huge catfish have fat marbled in their flesh that makes them very strong tasting. Little catfish do not have the fat in them and are far better to eat.
