Been using the plastic quick releases. Going to the metal release, I'll roll the dice on picking up moss or grass. But awesome that you give us choices. And the line locs, those are money also......

The metal detachable clevis on a wire spinner is also a good option. It allows you to change blades in a pinch.

Good advice

Pro I've used a brand new VIP QCC and still lost the blade. It is extremely frustrating to lose blades per fish. The metal quick change is all I trust. I simply can't lose a blade per Chinook.

If you like the plastic clevis, but hate losing the blade….try this. Flic a Bic..lighter..get that metal head hot…”weld” up the gap. Can’t pull the blade off. I have thousands of blades…still hate losing them….

@@Umakemelaff here's a idea that totally "Trump's" your suggestion. Just use the plastic Stir up clevises to begin with! F! The flimsy quickie change clevises all together. I seriously already have plenty pretied soft spinner leaders. Just clip a new leader on.

I only use the metal spring type. Not all brands have that sloppy piece of wire sticking out. I got 50 pacs off ebay, size 2 that are perfect. Tag end of the wire wraps back snug along the coil. You're welcome

You didn’t talk about the size options for the clevis…

Good call out. Size 2 is smaller than size 3. On all 3.5 bland smaller I prefer size 2 clevis. A size 3 clevis is nice one our 3.5 and 4 Cascade. Size 4 clevis for our #5 Cascade.

Thanks pro! Never seen a blade on a anchovie, that's news to me? Do you also put a blade on a herring?

How do you target chinook and coho when the water temps are 70 degrees
@VIPOutdoors14 ай бұрын
Great question. 70 degree water I’m assuming is a surface temperature. Get your gear into cooler water. Cooler water can come from tributaries or deeper water. Sometime deeper faster moving water and sitting on anchor while the fish move up river is a great way to target them. Try to avoid trolling down on fish that are moving up. When they are on the move they are less likely to bite something moving the opposite direction

Pro, which size plastic fixed crevice do you use on a soft spinner? A #2, or #3? Thanks!

I’m plastic detachable all the way. I don’t use our fixed plastic

Pro do you have link for that shirt? I've seen it around 3 times so far and can't find it.
