Another BORING waste of time episode. FIVE hours into this show and it could have been condensed down to 90 minutes with a tight script and good pacing. But the show doesn't respect anyone's time nor intelligence either as some of the most STUPID decisions are made during it.

Man, they really didn't do their home work on Galadriel. She is very powerful that she doesn't even need a sword. If you read about her powers, just with her power of her ring she cleansed the forest from evil. She didn't even lift a sword. She had the power to go into anyone's mind and in a way you can tell she knew the other wizard has gone to the dark side, so she talked to Gandalf in his mind while with others in counsel. She is so powerful she saved Gandalf and others against saurons soldiers and sauron himself when she said, "yes, he's back" meaning Sauron. So they have belittled her, made her cheap, condescending instead of graceful, arrogant instead of confident, ignorant of customs of other lands instead of powerful to even talk and behave like that. She would never say "You have not seen what I have seen," because all who knew her knows she sees far than anyone, knows what's coming and they'd never question her of what she warns. So they just ripped out all that and made her some girl who still has to earn her stripes when she has already earned them long ago and no one would dare question her of that, which is why she would not try to prove a damn thing to convince anyone. When she speaks and says war, they all say "ok," not argue with her because that is how her stature and power.

Well according to LORE the Numenorians are supposed to be super warriors on par with the Spartans in the real world. 500 Numenorians should be equivalent to 5000 regular troops. It's the RPG trap. Everyone knows the end, more or less, so you have to make the trip there entertaining as the GM/writer. It is very, very unlikely to be a complete, Shakespearean tragedy because those are hard to sell to the Disney generations. Best case it'll be epic with elements, or characters, of tragedy, but basically happy ending etc. If you rush to that it will be boring. You need expository, relevant side quests like Old Forest, Barrow Downs, Bree, Weathertop, Moria, Parth Galen etc etc. If you don't do that and it's instead the highway to predictability, everyone will leave. Anyway, id-pol lectures are not the way to entertain people partaking in a predictable activity. Someone should tell the Commiewood idiots...

Right, so this review forgot to mention the siege engineers needed to construct the ladders and siege engines to take a fortification. Or transporting the wood needed to construct that. Wait, I forgot, just as they assume that the orks will have left enough food around days of the tower for the army to feed, they assume that there is enough wood around the fortification to build the ladders and catapults. I forgot. The orks will leave the tower to fight the Numenerians in an open field battle as soon as they arrive and it will be just two masses of troops charging at each other with no plan. A fortification gives you no advantage at all against an attacker. Masters of warfare these writers are not. And in no way could have anyone written an interesting story around all that.

If the rings have yet to be created then Sauron cannot have ruled in the south-lands. Thus the cause of the War of the Last Alliance doesn't exist, and therefore the fall of Númenor can't happen for the reasons it actually happens in the history of Arda. Yet here we are meeting the last generation of Númenorians. This isn't "time compression". It's a scrambling of the events with around 3000 years of the Second Age being ignored. Apparently that 3000 years was how long pseudo-Galdriel was lost at sea.
