Why would Matt Murdock know a fashion designer exactly? The conditions of meeting Melvin were very specific and a part of the actual story of season one, not just obvious fan service to build hype for a failing show. This person is obviously a high -end designer, hence the "you're wasting my time and talent" bullshit... so again, why would Matt know them if he's a poor lawyer who practically takes cases for free and also um blind? let me guess, Disney: Dare Devil saved him one night from a racist white man so he made him a new costume!! wow. Hope DD's episode is the last straw. This one felt like it was a bunch of ideas borrowed from The Incredibles

Matt also has literally no reason to be in LA. He's an NYC defense attorney, "The Devil of Hell's Kitchen", why would he be in LA for any sensible reason? He tends to stick to Hell's Kitchen, he never leaves unless it's for a really good reason. Unfortunately, when it comes to Melvin, Matt would likely have to find someone new to make a new suit anyways, since Melvin violated his parole and ended up back in prison in season 3. That's presuming they're keeping that bit of continuity, but in any case, DD definitely would not have a costume made by some typical LA fashion designer guy. It's totally preposterous. I never get mad enough to write on KZbin, but having worked on the original Daredevil show (music and such) and being a longtime DD comic fan, I felt so insulted by the "reveal" of Daredevil's mask just sitting in that box. I mean what the hell?! Nothing makes any sense. I'm just gonna type nonsense if I keep going. Fuck this show and these garbage writers.

I have yet to watch a minute of this show. And only say that because in the various reviews you get a few seconds of clips from the episode. Add all of those clips together and I'd still argue it is less than a minute of view time. So I believe my above statement is factually true. Now with that said, I don't even need to watch the reviews at this point. I knew it was a train wreck with the first episode review. I also knew the direction that Disney has been going for sometime. Even a successful project like The Mandolorian has woke elements in it. But to be fair, the women come across as near equals and don't come across as overbearing and have to save the men from every other predicament. Unlike so many other Disney projects such as She-Hulk. You know it is bad when I question "Secret Invasion". And why do I question it? Because the trailer makes you think the central character is Fury. Yet his name isn't in the title. So I have to question whether Disney is deliberately trying to misdirect the viewers into what the show really is. A Agent Carter like series on steroids where Fury only has a supporting role. Obi Wan wasn't even about Obi Wan. It was about Leia and a Dark Sister. Book of Fett made Fett come off as very weak so to up play pretty much every other female character introduced. The Bad Batch is slowly shifting into the Omega story. And don't even get me started on the MCU. Moonknight ... seriously? I can never get those hours back after watching that whole season. All and all I appreciate viewers such as this doing the legwork. But the only reason I watched the Batwoman reviews was to see the drop in viewership. I didn't even need to see the rest. And yes, it is a absolutely shocking that CW allowed that series to go like it did with its low performance. Especially with the low numbers at the target audience. It is a pity companies like Disney and Amazon aren't honest with their viewership numbers.

I think Az is onto something here with his summary. - The crew comes in for She-hulk: Episode 5 She-Hulk needs a new suit. - The director asks for the script. - Dana Schwartz says: "Well, we don't really have script." - The director and the actors look at her in amazement and say: "what?" - Schwartz goes: "Look: She-Hulk needs a new suit and there needs to be a courtscene in this episode. Run with it." That could literally be all they have to work with to shoot an episode.

Jaynes laughter is a fabulous, honest, sweet, and utterly feminine counter to our boy, AZ. I find my head snapping over to look at the stupid phone during the stream every time she giggles because I want to look at the adorable creature who is making that adorable sound. We actually had a court case of something similar. A company named themselves pensonic which is probably a ripoff of panasonic. They also sell electronic products. It started off selling cheap low quality products but grew big enough to actually take a market share chunk of electronic goods sold cause it still sells reasonably cheaper. Y'know, a competent writer stuck with the concept of She-Hulk needing to fight for the rights to her name could be clever about it. Jen works for a *superhuman* law division and is told that she can't defend herself, that someone else from the division will step in. Now if you have a brain, THAT'S where you bring in Daredevil! As Matt, defending Jen first and then they become friends and/or work partners after the trial. Then an interesting subplot could be Jen working with Matt as lawyers and She-Hulk working with Daredevil as heroes with Jen having no idea it's the same person. Plus, her and Matt becoming friends could generate some storytelling drama between her and her stupid friend where Jen starts drifting away from her in favor of Matt. At least that would give her friend a chance to be an actual character with feelings and depth as well as more convincingly selling us on the idea that they're good friends by putting said friendship under strain. But what do I know? I'm just a stupid *man* who shouldn't write women.

The contrast of this show to the first episode of season 5 of Cobra Kai is like night and day. I'am so use to writers spinning their wheels or moving characters from one scene to the next without anything really happening, I wasn't used to Cobra Kai actually moving the plot forward. I've recently been watching a lot of "best of the worst" style bad movies. There is something so entertaining about them and you know that there is a real heart and soul being put in to them even if the acting, direction, editing etc. is amateur and horrific. I feel like the big budget stuff is the exact opposite. They have all the money they need, people who are competent actors, people who are classed as "professional" writers and directors, and yet they manage to make a bunch of meh. Yeah, I agree on that bit when Nikki supposedly indicated she was "queer"- I hadn't gotten that at all. And the actress' comments confused me, since she said she'd considered Nikki as bi. So if she's bi, that makes the "hetero life" comment make even less sense, since she would date men too. Also, since she said how she had headcanoned her character'ssexuality, I wondered if that had actually been intended in the ep at all. It's possible that they saw people on twitter going, "OMG the hetero life means Nikki's queeeer!" and the showrunners/Marvel were like, "Yes. Yes she is."

Wait, I'm confused. If the tinder guy doesn't know who she is, and the designer stereotype doesn't know who she is, despite her clarifying who she is during her ONE semi-heroic act, and apparently in an interview following it, which basically means it wasn't that big a deal that everyone heard about, so how does the She Hulk name become profitable to trademark? I mean, if she'd been going around as Shulk doing heroic things, then sure, but if her one public appearance is basically as herself, and that wasn't what made her famous, then what did?
