Great write up on Buju, just an addition you needed to include as well. Wayne Wonder was the one who took Buju from his home in Kingston and drove to Clarendon to perform. That wasn't the first time Wayne Wonder did this. He also wrote Boom Bye-bye for Buju.

It must've been great to see him perform post-release. I love countless songs (though there is one I no longer sing). He's a such dynamic live performer. I was mad at him for getting caught up with a career informant discussing coke! "Driver" seemed like foreshadowing. I heard NYC hustlers were mad at him for exposing their business dealings w/ that song.
