I enjoyed this video, but not ALL Asians (i.e, SOUTH asians) reputations have gone up, in fact, the desi repuatation has gone down the shitter, pun intended , all because of some REALLLY bad apples within India. Hopefully, every ethnicitys' PR goes up, and soon, I hope!

Western media hated brown more than yellow! just look at how the BBC showcase Mumbai to Shanghia, Shanghai has a slum as well and India has many modern buildings/infrastructure. The mainstream media never mentions about China's, S.Korea's or even Japan's rape problem, or rape problems in other continent. No, don't get me wrong, these rape cases in India are bad there are other countries that are a lot worse. When it comes to misidentifications East Asians always seem the loudest, heck at least people get the right sub-continent. For us brownies (including South East Asians) people may guess anywhere in Africa, Middle East, Eastern Europe, Latin America. Not to mention some of us got killed as many people assumed all of us were Muslims/Latin drug dealers. Hindus, brown Christians, Sikhs, Buddhist who fought against Muslim suppression are murdered by an uneducated fool. Just look at all movies related to East Asian content, a lot of it is inspiring and empowering. Compared to South Asian stuff, just reinforcing negative stereotypes. Here is a fact most people don't know, Kung Fu was invented by an Indian. And Buddhism also came from India. India, Kenya and Filipinos have sent aid to Japan and S. Korea, sent men to defend them from Chinese and N. Korean invasion, etc. And what do they get in return? Racism!

Good video, but this topic needs be delved a lot more and you are missing multiple things like Studio Ghibli, V-Tubers, Bollywood etc. You shouldn't call it "Asian Media" instead call it "Asian American Media" to prevent misrepresentation

"Asian media" but only in the eyes of American, you guys aren't mainland, don't tie that youtube american cringe sht with actual asian media like K pop and anime, things that originated from mainland. No mention about Japanese, Chinese games? Chinese, Thai, Korean, Japanese shows/movies? No Tokusatsu?? No Journey to the west, 3 kingdoms, Water margin? No pop from mainland like V-pop, C-pop, J-pop, T-pop? Even in anime is all the show that hit the west, no Doraemon, no Conan, not even the original like Astro Boy, anime HAS BEEN cool in asia since the 70s, we read manga when it used to be small and cheap, watch Donghua and now even Manhua/Web novel. Not a single mentioned to any Bollywood films? No artists, content creators, streamers from actual asia that speak their native languages and NOT English? Maybe stop that american centric mindset next time, the rise of asian media but it's only count if it impress minority like American or movies that are made by the US for american
