LOVE THIS MOVIE THANK YOU! My dad grew up in the Mississippi delta and we used to drive thru yazoo city on the way to my grandma's house so this was always special to me. Ryan Francis is a great actor as well. Always wished his career would've blown up so we could see more of him. When he played young Peter pan in Hook I really wished he'd gotten a feature length role as him afterwards. He has a unique look to him that fits perfectly with my idea of Peter pan.

Thank you for uploading this film. I've been searching online for the river pirates for over a decade. I used to love watching it at my grandmothers house every weekend when i was a small kid in the early 90s. She had it recorded on video. Up until now I've only had a couple of google hits to reasssure me it wasn't all in my imagination. So thank you.

I was in the same boat. All I could remember was the witch's grave and spit Mcgee. Every time I Googled spits Mcgee it brought up some book about a cat. Until I finally found this last year I was convinced it was a dream as well.

I stumbled across my copy of Good Old Boy and noticed the top corner said there was a Disney film. I knew there was a My Dog Skip movie, but not this one. Thanks for the upload, it’s impossible to find anywhere else! This feels like my childhood, even if it’s set 40 years earlier.

I vaguely remember this movie a friend had it recorded on vhs he called it the good ole boys I never knew it was called River pirates now I know what to look for on Amazon lol

I think good ole boys was the original title when it aired on Disney. I think they changed it to river pirates for the vhs release.
