My mother and her family came feom Amritsar. My father and his family came from Feroz4pur. Both crossed river 9f blood. And eotnessed extreme massacres of Muslims by Sikhs. Many members of the family were killed. We thank Allah for blessing us with Pakistan.

Another heart -wrenching story . The difference is Indians ( like my forefathers)who lost everyrhing back in Pakistan and migrated to Indian border lost their dream world for no fault of theirs. But, they could rebuild and regain and are happy to be part of present India . But, as the respected gentleman points out, they lost the dream after coming to Pakistan. True, India has reached great heights and is a global country. While in Pakistan , internal strife, political bedlam continue.

Relatively, India might appear to be better off than Pakistan but India is a lawless hellhole where a common/poor man has no stake, no entity. A poor/common in India has less standing than the dog of a billionaire in India. Police of India is a mafia organization and the politicians of India are murderous thugs, so we in India did not get a great deal. Now all this was upto 2014, after 2014 with the coming of the murderer Modi in power, India is each day becoming a Taliban nation. Slowly and slowly, India is going towards becoming a Taliban land. Whatever little gain (little because of the corrupt Congress party) India had made upto 2014, everything is being destroyed by Modi.

On 14th August 1947 it was not known whether Amritsar and lahore would fall inside Pakistan or India. The boundary maps were revealed on the 17th of August. And only after that Wagah was declared as the border crossing...

Long back i distinctly remember the words of my brother's father in law who told me a story about his friend during Partition time There was a Moslem Milk man who supplied milk for 35 Years but during partition on one day he came and threatened the whole family at knife point to place before him all the Jwells in their house He collected everything but never returned.That was the Fervour of Hate during those times.

Surely when 8 bn dollar reserves will evaporate pakistan currency will start decline again. Pak also have Internal politics crisis. PML, PPP, PTI all r figting with themselves and pak military establishment so no long term planning they just want to survive another day in the office. Mafia cukture is also big problem in pak ..Land mafia chini mafia, drug mafia, smuggking mafia Pak also has water scaricity issues. Pak has environmental challenges. Pak has education crisis. Largest %of population of children out of school is in Pakistan. Pakistan also is hub of genetic disease problem due to cousin marriages. Largest number of genetically defected children born in pakistan like glycoma, deaf, mentally retard, handicapped from birth. Pakistan Also have problem of institutional failure. Jisko jo kaam mila hai woh nahi kar raha aur kuch aur chij main laga hai .... Politicians paisa banaey main lagey hai, Army business run kar rahi hai, judge executive body ko challege kar rahey hai and everything else. Pakistan has wadera mullah millitary civil bureocracy nexus too. Middle class is unable to create new political class. Same people who were on pay role of British r running country even today.
