Thanks dude, I've been wanting to get to the root cause of input lag especialy on rocket league this past years, and I've had pretty much the same conclusions as you but You're video sums it up really well, and also there are a few things I never saw, like the Tap Time edit. Also THANK YOU for speaking about multiple monitor, I've been trying to see if that was me halucinating or not, I've been having top tier pc, with triple monitor in 1440p ( mid is 240hz) and I've been always wondering why my pc keeps laging, especialy when streaming/recording/ having obs open even. And I recently tried upluging all, and it's been Perfect. ( only issues is I have to unplug.. and can't have the secondary monitor to view my stream.. so I don't know what to do about that) I always thought having 2 Idle monitors on side would not inpact gpu , cause Everybody says it doesnt, and that my pc should handle it, I always felt like they never went deep into the topic, and It's been truly anoying, especialy people on forum or discord that are suposed to be Pc experts .. but they don't get how this works. Ok so now, I'm sure it's not just me , having side monitors has major impact. And same for youtube, when I had a video playing it was horrible. Everyone would tell me It's placebo or smth is wrong with my software or smth. Anyway thanks Last question : Side monitors on display mode or Gpu ? ( in nvidia control panel )

I think the tap time parameter refers to menu and not actual game play same goes for the rest of the values in that section. Makes sense as this would give PC users advantage over console players.

I recently discovered that when i delete all my temporary files JUST BEFORE playing rl it makes it way better and less input lag (Windows + R then "temp" "%temp%" and "prefetch" Hope it may help some of you

23:33 running higher hz uses so little resources if you are getting lag from it its time for a new computer

Hey dude, you seem to have a bunch of knowledge regarding input delay stuff within Rocket League and I have one that I went as far as buying a new PC with one of the primary reasons for it being to solve a input delay issue within Rocket League (it didn't solve it). The issue basically goes that the longer Rocket League or my PC is turned on, the significantly worse my input delay gets in Rocket League till the point of me having almost no mechanical control. And the thing you mentioned about Alt Tabbing definitely speeds up the time it takes for the input delay to increase. I should mention that restarting RL doesn't help. I have to restart my entire PC to have low input delay for the few minutes before it returns. I've talked to a lot of players in-game as well as some professional freestylers, and the majority of people seem to experience the same issue. For about half a year now I've not been able to progress mechanically as a freestyler solely due to this issue. If you have any idea of how this can be solved or improved, please let me know!

look into ISLC - enough to find about it but it basically clears "taken" RAM that piles up while your system is functioning. Also, the other part of this tool is about timer resolutions so you can delve into that a bit as well if you're interested. (Disable HPET/disabledynamictick/usesystemtick etc.)

Brother your FPS chart at the menu means you CANNOT run rocket league at 280 hz that graph is atrocious
