The Rode Wireless Pro Is INSANE!

The Wireless PRO kit is a dream come true. I have the Zoom F3 32-bit field recorder, which is fantastic. Now, with the Rode Wireless PRO, I can record all my wireless audio in 32-bit as well. It's Christmas in September!!

The magnetic clips were available as extras for the wireless go ii as well - I paid for them. Sigh. Now with the Pro set you get quite a good package deal - two lavs, the magnetic clips, all the cables and the charging case - it's really good value for money

So getting two in the box is already $38 “value” plus two lavalier II that cost $99 each, is another $198 “value” - charge case $79 value, that’s now altogether $315 of value on top of the wireless system. For $399 as a kit! I would say buying a wireless go II right now is not very smart….

I drop by your channel periodically and I really like it. For me I really didn't understand what this product was based on the introduction to the video. What is its use case?

These are Lavalier mics. Meant for discreet usage.

Float only works with separate audio files that we need to sync in post production. The gain assist will work directly to the camera audio/video file so no need to sync later. This is why the float is not useful for some creators. My issue is that my content is not controlled in that manner most of the time. The riding vlogs I do tend to last 6-8 hours on a daily basis so recording separate audio clips and syncinc everything in post is an impossibly crazy amount of work. If I can get clean audio with the gain assist directly to my main camera it would be an enourmous win compared to getting the levels just right before recording. WHY is nobody making a descent video about this I can never understand.. maybe I will do one later about my use case when I get the unit.

I still wish Rode would release the dual transmitter w/ Receiver AND the the Single Transmitter w/Receiver at the same time. I am a solo content creator and have no use for the extra transmitter, but they always seem to wait a while to release the single/solo option. DJI dis the same thing with their mic too, but DJI also removed the rechargeable case too :(
