I have had Neon Abyss on my wishlist for years now, never felt confident enough to commit buying it, even on sale. I loved the aesthetics so much tho, but as we all know, gameplay makes a game.

Neon Abyss is a roguelite that I am so mixed on.I love its aesthetic, item variety, and egg system, but it just has a few too many flaws. For some context, I am someone who got all the DLCs for free as they came out, which was really nice of the devs. I really like this game, but I think that a C rating is pretty fair, maybe a B if I am feeling nice. There's just so many better roguelites/roguelikes to play, but I do think it is worth giving a shot. It isn't overly hard (outside of getting to some of the later bosses until you really learn the game), and it can be rewarding too, but it just feels like it trips over itself sometimes if that makes any sense. Good video, keep up the great work!

It’s you game in that both my son and my daughter love playing it. It’s worth going over just the variances and characters. I really like the cyborg, but the girl with the sword is pretty powerful .

On the Steam news page for this game, they did announce that they're working on a sequel to this game. So they're possibly putting their heads down to work on that game? Or they're just zooping out of the Western game development and social media usage due to their Chinese ties, as the government can be stingy with that kind of thing.

tbh neon abyss is ok but there's no point in playing it since revita is a very similar roguelike that is literally just better than neon abyss in every way lol
