Bolvar didn’t have trouble with the scourge because he was weak. It was because he was trying to suppress the scourge’s savagery and need to kill basically. It’s something they were literally made to do so it was hard for him to take that away from them. If he had bad intentions he could’ve easily sent them to cause chaos

I'm an outsider just learning about the lore, but from what i've read already is hard to affirm if they even have a long term plan at all. It feels more like "throw everything at the wall and see what sticks". I could be wrong, but that's how it feels to me as a sales/marketing guy.

Appearently, the Helm was forged inside the Shadowlands, by dreadlords. That's... kinda all we got. I'm sure Bolvar himself will explain it during the prepatch.

She wasn't even close to taking damage, she was portrayed as a 'perfect soldier' dodging everything. I'm not even mad that she managed to beat Bolvar, as he is far weaker than Arthas due to the lack of Shadowmourne, and Sylvannas is empowered by the Jailor. What I'm frustrated about, and I think this goes for a lot of people is the fact that she did so with seemingly no effort, no damage, they just made Bolvar a complete bitch. They could have had her disarm him or something and him just straight up landing a punch in her face before she manged to chain him down, at least he would put up something of a fight then.

I'm pretty sure that the next cinematic will be about Sylvanas being invencible, edgy and humiliating powerful characters, like Jaina, Malfurion or Azshara. Blizzard could invest more their cinematics in other characters besides Sylvanas. We could have a cinematic about Tyrande and the night elves after the war, or about the future of the naga, or about the Horde's new ruling council. But nah, I think Blizzard will give us more cinematics about this awful emo banshee making grumpy faces, flying and screaming: AAAAAAAAAAAAA.

Big issue I see, "There must always be a lich king to keep the undead in check." Bolvar had the helmet destroyed. How can he lead us into the shadowlands if there are a massive amount of undead in northern and the plague lands? We're any serious set free or given as free will when arthas died or when the helmet was shattered? Did they all die? That's my issue. Also if arthas had the undead minions eyes glow blue, does Bolvar's minions under his control eyes glow red? Just a thought. Wow is heading to a really strange place and ultimately a realm where time and space don't necessarily exist. I find it odd that they would leave the undead threat unchecked. Someone has to stay back. I feel like blizzard would give us a disservice not to explain that.

Nice video, Doron. I am hoping they will make a 4th spec for deathknights that would be like a warrior/destruction like spec that could wield hellfire and heavy melee weapons. But with demon hunters still only having 2 specs it seems unlikely.

I got it, when the jailer forsaked his role and attempted to break the rift between reality and the shadowlands during wotlk, Bolvar donned the helm to become the new jailer of the damned with the helm as the lock. When the helm was destroyed, the jailer regained his power and opened the rift.

Bolvar is so nice. He should have atleast asked to borrow frostmourne... I have an army worth of demon souls in that thing by now. I mean. It's funny how some of the races conveniently lose their artifacts like it's a paper weight they left somewhere by mistake. I wouldn't be surprised if non of us have our artifacts lorewise stored away in a bank somewhere nymore. Hate how they make player characters look like idiots. But I'd rather my char look like a butter fingers idiot then to have a decent plot line ruined by mcguffinvanas.

I think the whole Alliance-Horde contract is going stale. I mean, it could be great, but they are soo close to peace sometimes, that it doesn't make sense how they mess it up every time. I think the new covenant system is kind of the revamp of the warcraft 3 factions. If you think about it: Maldraxxus = Undead (basicly a military of "likeminded" people, without actual "civilians") Revendreth = Horde (Honor, punish the unworthy, if someone is "wrong" they are free prey) Ardenweald = Nigh elves (or elves, united by their aristocracy and supremacist aptitude) Bastion = Humans (i mean, humanlike followers of the Church of Holy Light) I think in the future factions will be more like a "goal that you are dedicated to" thing, than being race-locked, since racism start to fall out of the acceptable section of themes for the PC society. On the other hand, in npc level, there are need to have some kind of "flagship empires" behind these factions, so i think, there will be an elven unity behind Ardenweald, an undead and "fake undead" (death knight toned subrace behind every race) Maldraxxus based empire, the church of holy light follower Bastion people of humanlikes with kings and knighthood, and the "punish the unworthy" willed "honor" horde of nomadic races. In my opinion, Fordragon is the key to make the undeads non-horde related, and also the rival who soothe Sylvanas from killing everyone to claim everybody as undeads, so he will be the "chain" that keeps up the balance, by having a bipolar leadership over the undeads. I think Fordragon will be the leader of the masses from the undead, and Sylvanas will be the "renegade leader" of strong inviduals inside the undeads.

DK main here, I want him dead and the scourge dismantled. The idea that there needed to be a jail or of the damned is an insult. Containing the sealed scourge should have been easy. Just deploy plague at the exits and set up a fan to blow it deeper in.
