Great lesson, so easy to follow. I love the screen text which are so helpful. Much easier to learn in G, I will use the capo after to play it in A after I learn it. Thank you for a great video.

I like that you have mentioned all the members of the band! )) It would have been also great if you had said: "...The Rolling Stones founded by Brian Jones" =))
@GeorgeGoodmanMusic13 жыл бұрын
@TheSandwichyum I think the trick would be to start with just the chords. Make sure you can play them and switch quickly to the next chord. Once that's down, work on your strumming to try to get a natural feel. The lesson is intended to give you the basics of the song to allow you to learn it and put together your own version.

Nice! Thanks, man. I love this song, play it a lot, but I had a couple pieces missing that you fill in for me. Also, thanks for the tip on capo on the 2nd fret to play it in A. You rock! Jim

Many thanks! Excellent tutorial. Sweet Virginia really lends itself to the solo guitar + harmonica. Finally was able to play it all together today. The syncing of guitar and harmonica took me several hours but I slowed down the video and finally got it, and now it feels like having learned to ride a bike. Got to scrape the $hit right off your shoo--ooh-ooh-oohs!

Perfect, I was just going to make up a lesson for this and figured someone else may have already did it. I thought you did a great tutorial for both guitar and harmonica, and explaining about the key change. Nicer bass runs in G to be sure.
