The Rolling Stones have so many hits...but if you're looking for the real pearls, you gotta dive a bit deeper in their records. Songs like Worried about you, Winter, Heartbreaker, Til the next goodbye etc. are timeless masterpieces. And this one really makes my day.

Whether or not you like him, you've got to give Keith credit for maintaining such a steady rhythm, even under the influence of so many drugs and drink. This promo video is a testament to how strung-out he was during that time, and unlike many of his rockstar contemporaries, he stuck it out and actually kept it all together AND sounding great. Keith's one in a zillion, so admire him and love him, but don't ever make the mistake of trying to be like him!

Don't exaggerate with all these ' drugs' , yes occasionally he used diacetylmorphine, cocaine HCl is like a cappuccino or cigarette, but in late 76 he had a car accident on M? Side B is one of the best 5-songs ever recorded.... but why do you believe Ronnie is underrated? He's definitely not.

@@mckinleymac3452 One thing is certain, in that he's hardly ever mentioned as much as Mick or Keith, even Charlie(especially now😥)

Ronnie Wood didn't play on this song. Wayne Perkins. I don't think I've ever heard Ronnie play such a solo.
@MrRugbyloosehead3 жыл бұрын
@@dalepress1581 After some digging, you’re right ,as it’s an older song when Mick Taylor was in the band, performing a Carl Perkins' style solo! It was originally recorded in 1972, but like a lot of songs by the stones it was shelved , but refurbished in 1981 for the Tattoo You album with Mick’s solo left intact!

This is Perkins on lead guitar. Ronnie Wood is a nice guitarist and he fits in great with the Stones, but his lead guitar skills are not in the same ballpark as Wayne Perkins or Mick Taylor. Mick Taylor's guitar is on Waiting for a friend (same album).

Sometimes they get me laughing that ever so good laugh that makes you feel good inside. They're like that sometimes, the world would be a lot worse without them.

pup lover You know, I know, and THEY know that day is coming. When you look at their history, death plays such a big part of their story at practically every stop. But to keep going long after everyone thought they should be dead or irrelevant...THAT'S an achievement that few can claim.

@@Bacchus1983 A lot of critics believe it is their best. Side B is about as good as 5 songs put together on any album.
