Hello, thankyou for the video's My situation is a little complicated but I hope you will bare with me to explain. In 2000 I had a pretty huge fall of about 50 Meters down a quarry, hit numerous trees on my way down and landed very hard at the bottom. I had severe injuries to my left shoulder and required an operation to repair but the muscles atrophied and eventually I needed "Pec Major Transfer" I have had use of my are all these years but always had discomfort. I realise the PMT is 16 years old now and I have been in quite a lot of pain for many years. Recently (April2023) I had a rotator cuff repair, now 4 months in I am in more pain than even before the operation with very little sleep and if I attempt to use my are or just lift it away from my side the pain is sickening and I break out into a sweat. I am going back to see the surgeon in a couple of weeks for what the next stage may be. I am now 68 years old and have been a carpenter joiner all my life and feel all I have ever done is now gone but your video has made me wonder if a reverse shoulder replacement may be the way forward and maybe release the PMT to allow the repair to develop as my left Pec is a lot larger than the right as it has taken over the damaged shoulder over the years. Can I just ask for you input please. I know it's a big ask and you don't know the history so any ball-park comment would be appreciated. Many thanks, once again. Eddie.
