Coincidentally those are my two lazy villagers as well along with Bones. I do plan on exchanging Bones for another villager eventually as I feel like I have too many lazy villagers. While I find Bones adorable, Stitches and Zucker just look more unique.

i love raddle for new horizons, the first island i had was deleted since i wanted to start over but raddle was the 3rd villager to move in i think, the game auto generated villagers for my empty slots. i thought he looked super cool and he quickly became my favorite villager. when i wiped my data and started a new island (my now current one), i was at the part where you had 3 empty slots and when i was going island hopping, i found raddle very soon! I was so happy and now he's living his best life in my island along with his friends Papi, Wendy, Fauna and Frita. Fun fact: Raddle is a poison dart frog, I think he's named raddle because if you read the first 3 letters in his name it's "rad" aka radiation, which is not poison but hey, he's a doctor, poor guy was born a poisonous animal, but he is still a frog in out heart

Yeah, "rattling cough" is not what they're referring to. It's meant to refer to what is colloquially known as a "Death Rattle", which is the rattling noise someone who is close to death makes due to difficulty breathing. It's the universal body-shutting-down sound as people die. My grandmother was said to have made the same sound in the hours before she finally passed.
