Why is this being televised?? Cut the cameras!! All she needs is love, support, and care . Also she was diagnosed with Dementia. This is not karma or what she deserves because she was a “mean” person. If that was the case, what does it mean when good or nice people have the same diagnosis?!! Hate her or love her this documentary is exploitative and wrong.

they would consider it “sad, tragic” etc. No matter what controversies Wendy has gotten into she is still suffering from arguably one of the worst diseases you can have and she is still fairly young for most ppl with dementia which is worse

I think the main purpose of the doc series, is so the court & public can see that her life and well-being with her family is much better for her than under a guardianship.
@RapNB20112 ай бұрын
Im glad it’s being televised, as people will start questioning the guardian. Her family should be taking care of her. She was doing well when she was in Miami.

The fact the court refused her family to be her guardian but a random stranger to be her guardian.The family can't visit nor see wendy. And Wells fargo is holding her money against her will. Wendy can't touch her money including her family can't touch it but the bank and strangers around her can. And that statement is giving very much the guardian / handler wrote it. This is giving very much britney to me but much worse.

Wendy Williams is without a doubt an ICON! I feel so bad that she’s going through all of this especially in the public eye. Honestly, you have to be a tough cookie to deal with that backlash/ scrutiny. For anyone saying that this is karma, let me just remind you. She is doing the same thing that everybody else does on social media and in the comment sections the only difference is she had a major platform. I’m sending Wendy nothing but positive energy! I’m hoping for a speedy recovery for her 💓

Not only it is myopic for people to think ANYONE deserves this, but it shows an incredible lack of awareness to throw stones in a glass house, saying someone deserves a mental disease makes you as bad or WORSE, so what do you DESERVE to have happen to you according to that logic? But it's also disrespectful to the people who suffer from it, are you saying they all deserved it too? People have some wild thoughts. 😅

I appreciated Wendy's brand of directness but did wish that sometimes she'd been just a little more compassionate, and it's sad that's she's only now learning the power of compassion, but Karma is NOT punishment and I hate the way people pervert the word Karma now. Karma isn't punishment or revenge, it's not a get out of jail free card to revel in someone's suffering; reveling in someone's suffering in turn also causes bad Karma. I don't wish dementia on anyone and it's so sad that such a sharp and lively woman has to suffer from it so young.
@angelbeauty82 ай бұрын
Totally agree. I liked watching Wendy but the vile comments and her lack of empathy made me stop watching. She had no regards to what her words might do to the ones she was talking about. She was on TV live gossiping and bullying celebrities. They can have all the money but they aren't robots. Negative talk hurts and it's an energy that will drag you down. There are consequences to our actions whether they were loving or mean spirited . That's karma

Sometimes, the innocent and the guilty suffer the same outcome, but this doesn't mean there isn't such a thing called karma. Everything in life isn't black or white. If you've followed her career into New York radio you would know the real damage she did to so many people for just the sensationalism of the story. It was cruel to those people and their families. Wendy stayed with Kelvin, knowing he was disrespecting her and their son. If her story was someone else's and she was still on her show she would jump all over it. Don't get me wrong, I pray for her and feel sorry for ANYONE going through such pain and suffering. But some of this is self-inflicted. Be careful what you say and do because it can come back to bite you.

I have mixed feelings about the docuseries because while it was hard to watch and did feel exploitative to me at times… I also feel like had the reality of the situation not been made so painfully clear to the public, there would be no hope for her and her family. Her health is in a SERIOUSLY poor state yet she has been surrounded by people who either refuse to take it seriously, are taking advantage of her, and/or are keeping her pent up in isolation to deteriorate. Wendy needs to be with HER FAMILY, period. The state she is in is truly shocking and her condition is degenerative. This guardianship and the people who have been undermining her family have nowhere to hide now. It was truly sad to see what has become of Wendy but I hope this will bring some real change.

To say that this is karma is fucking heartless. Yeah, I don't like her as a person. Yeah, she wasn't a kind human being on her TV show. But to say that dementia and aphasia is KARMA? That shows that nobody understands exactly how harrowing dementia can be. When you have dementia, you are confused, you lose yourself, you forget the people you love, you stop understanding words, you lose control of your own body. By the end, you sit there a confused husk, always trying to think "what is happening?" without being able to come up with the words for it. It's my biggest fear and I wouldn't wish it on anyone. I fucking hate Ronald Reagan but when I found out he had Alzheimer's in his final years I couldn't help but feel bad. Nobody deserves a disease such as this one

People who doesn't feel sorry for her and say she deserved it should be ashemed of their existing. I really loved her show because she always told truth - no matter how hurting it was. Stan twitter users were raging that she birngs out "dirty facts" about their biases, but in reality nobody is perfect and you have to accept it. It's so sad to see her fading away slowly, but we can't control this situation. I hope she will get lots of support and love that she needs now.
@MikuHatsune1592 ай бұрын
The word people want to use is "consequences". Like yes, for all her messy lifestyle choices and her career, she must face the consequences of her actions. Everything she's done has a cause and effect, but cognitive diseases like this don't have any real cause....it just happens. Nobody wants to see someone decline in the way Alzheimer's and dementia patients disappear....I might not have been a fan of what she does as a TV personality or as a person, but nobody would want to lose what they've worked hard for. It's just vengeance and pure malice if you hate someone for doing or having what you couldn't.
