The narration on this is quite redundant. It's so tragic, the tragedy, of this tragic band who has faded tragically. Also is it still pertaining to the band if the original bassist was kicked out years before but continues doing dumb shit even though he's not a member of the band??

Yeah all this sucks but that’s not why they’ve lost the spotlight. It’s no longer on them because the music world has moved on. Rock doesn’t dominate airwaves like it did in the early 2000s: now it’s mumble rap and trap music. I personally hate that this is the case, but facts are facts. However, the fact that 3 doors down is still trucking along despite all this shows their passion and dedication. They’ll always have a career until they themselves call it quits.

Lee Martinez, Imagine Dragons is a solid band and put on one hell of a show. Maroon 5 is a very talented band too. Adam has an impressive voice. They're still an active band but there has been a lot of tragedy that has also surrounded this band that is just very unfortunate and very difficult to see unfortunately. In fact beyond the year 2011 things got really difficult for 3 Doors Down and it's been really difficult to see because of course we wish this wonderful band - they're still touring to this day - but we wanted to talk about some of their original members and the tragedy that has surrounded 3 Doors Down." It's very sad what has been happening to bands over the years. I wish I could turn back the hands of time and start over. Parting yes, but not into the drugs and alcohol my life would've been much more rewarding. @@rockmetalplaylists5595 well, the singer is a recovering alcoholic (which I'm sure developed due to the band's success and I'm sure that other band members had their own substance abuse issues). He also had a failing marriage during their most successful time period, and during that time i believe he was involved in a serious car accident. They lost their drummer to Nickleback. Which probably felt like treason to the band. You seemed to only focus on the bassist even after he left the band. Also, you repeat A LOT.

I saw the tour before Matt left the band and he didn’t seem right, the band was really high energy and he just kinda stood there and played guitar. The tour right before Todd got arrested. He was hammered on stage and was just up there living it up. Throwing picks in the crowd while he was supposed to be playing. Fist bumping people in the first row again while the songs were still being played. Fun times. Still a very good show to see with Justin and Chet.

Does anyone know the instrumental in the back?
@drewchristenson79676 жыл бұрын
ok so to those of you who are not familiar with prescription guidelines when giving them to someone with chronic pain (he could have been faking it or paying the doctor that's not the point) anyways oxycontin which is a 12 hour time release version of oxycodone is prescribed to take 1 every 12 hours so 60 of them is a 30 day supply also it is very common for additional immediate release pain meds to also be prescribed for what is called "breakthrough pain" while on the time release medication and that is usually either hydrocodone or oxycodone 5 or 10 mg tablets which are generally prescribed to take 1 to 2 tablets every 4 to 6 hours so when you do the math all the narrator and the judge really said is OMG YOU GOT A MONTHS WORTH OF PRESCRIPTIONS FROM YOUR DOCTOR IN 30 DAYS!!!! which if I'm not mistaken is exactly how many you would expect to be given.....just dint want anyone to think that was just an obscene about in that time period......that is totally normal.

Hey, anyone know if they experienced any tragedies?
@Capnsensible804 жыл бұрын
Just the same few, but they experienced it over and over. Which is to say, they experienced repeated tragedies. Unfortunately, tragedy was not an isolated incident; the band has, sadly, been plagued with recurring tragedy. Furthermore, tragedy has struck the members of the band on more than one occasion. Tragically, the band faced persistent tragic circumstances. One can conclusively say, the band has definitely experienced profound tragedy, and that tragedy was a repeated occurrence for members of the band. Has it been at least 6 minutes yet? SHIT!

It's a simplistic band but its a good band lots of power and happy chords, with good lyrics, They r not about shredding their not dream theater they use cowboy chords to perfection with some power chords shifting it up a gear with the hammer down And Matt did the simplistic single note riffs, For straight rock and roll I give them big props...

So really the only tragedy here is the man who was killed by the druggy ex bass player. The other stuff happened when the people in question were not even in the band any more.

I’ve seen these guys 3 or 4 times in the early 2000s. I never realized all the tragedy that they went through. I am extremely excited about seeing’s them in October with Collective Soul for my 35th bday!!!

Yes sir, Tommy. This generation is taking for granted what music really is and what it means to people and pissing on it with computers and lyrics that make no sense or if they do it’s probably going to be another generic love song or something about changing your life or some shit like that with a few computer synthesized guitar cords.

Kind of blew that bass player way out of proportion. After he was fired from the band the stuff he did no longer had anything to do with 3 doors down. so all that stuff about the bass player after he was fired is mute to the band. The real tragedy though is that the Lead guitarist died.

Spoken as someone who has no experience in counseling, let alone seeing a family member or friend struggle with an addiction. You are blessed to have never experienced it at first or second hand, but infinitely foolish to not understand that addictions take their toll beyond choice. Enjoy judgement & pride upon your tall ivory tower - your perfection baffles us all.

I'm from Jackson Mississippi. My mother actually opened up the lead singer's first bank account with TrustMark bank! He used to live in the Palisades I believe which is a gated community in my area.
@jedgross83796 жыл бұрын
I'd have to disagree about those reasons being why the band hasn't really done anything good. I mean yeah, it could have a little to do with it. But the last album they did was awful even though it debuted at number 14. I think it's cause they have the same sound all the time. Nothing has really changed. It's sad that those two guys screwed things up for their own selves. Who knows, rock music is a strange world. Either people love you or hate you. Nickelback for instance, people loved the hell out of them for years but then all the sudden over night, people took a shit on them haha
@sandromnator6 жыл бұрын
Jed Gross Actually, Nickelback are still loved. They sell out arenas every show. Top tweets are positive and wonder why they are hated in the first place. At this point, only a vocal minority seem to say that.

The tragedy is the guy who was killed. These are just a couple of guys who can't help themselves and stop doing drugs. Addiction is common now
@theroachden61956 жыл бұрын
So....you're whole video essentially is about one guy? They are not as popular now because their new stuff is not the same as their old stuff and not nearly as popular. A former member going to prison has nothing to do with the band. The death of their guitarist is different though. Seems like you dug up a lot of nothing for tragedy instead of addressing their music.

I learned a long time ago that drugs and alcohol will provide nothing more than temporary satisfaction when facing issues. Seriously, how do people who are blessed with talent find the free will to watch it all fade away? So many people WISH they had an opportunity at a decent life but do not possess certain attributes that can open doors for them. Those who have natural talents seem to waste them by creating drama issues that are really baseless. Sad....so sad......
