The Willy warmer/ballerina shoe is actually something my grandmother had in her house, they were for keeping your bandage or plaster clean if you’d hurt your fingers or thumb, the ribbon tied round your wrist. The back scratcher/fork on the wall in the living room was a toasting fork, they were used on coal fires to toast bread. My grandma had one of those too.

Exactly right. As shown in the video it wasn't on straight. It needs to be positioned evenly across the face of the racket and the fasteners tightened to hold it in place. I used one for years decades ago.

After watching this explore, I am sitting and looking around my home thinking, if I had to leave right now and I was never to come back, what would people find sitting in my home? The shell spoons are from a set of desert spoons, there would have been a large shell spoon for serving and six for the table, these were used for fruit salad and ice cream and most received them as a wedding presents back in the day. The buttons kept in an old buisuit or Quality Street tin were a standard in every household, I still have one and often ladies put the odd old coin or ring even silver thimbles in there so hense it being tipped out. The first room was a pantry/ laundry, then into the kitchen. The room with the dining chairs against the wall would have been the dining room minus the dining table. The thickness if the walls at the windows says this is a solid country house built very well back in time long before the main road was added. It would have been a lovely home at one point but sadly never kept up to scratch. Thank you Adam. By the way Adam scotch glasses are round at the top but often square based with straight up sides to allow the scotch to be drunk as it should be flavour enhanced. 💕🇦🇺

Excellent vid, Adam. Brave man going in that spider breeding house. Made my skin crawl. But a lot of things made me laugh when I didn't think anything could today. Thanks, Mate. :)

The tennis racket frame is to keep the tennis racket from warping. You're suppose to screw it back on after every game. The tight laces in weather changes can cause the wood frame to warm if it is not held in the frame.

That wasn’t a ballet shoe, it looks like a finger stall. Albert Tatlock, Minnie Caudwell and Jack Walker were characters from Coronation Street about 50 years ago. The white stuff on the tap is limescale as a result of hard water.

Hi Adam, that tennis racket frame is to stop it from warping and going out of shape. Love the content and your respectful approach to exploring these fascinating properties. Keep it up mate! Good job!

The old free-standing kitchen units are a bit of a thing now, I see them in a lot of your videos and I think it's a shame they don't get salvaged and up-cycled, decent furniture just rotting away.

Fun explore today Adam! Loved the house though thinking of Michael there alone after his parents died left a certain sadness. I bet this house had stories to tell. Hope that you're doing well. Take care and be safe on your explores. See you and Matt next wee. 💗🙏

Calamine lotion was a liquid that was put on things like chicken pox or German measles pustules that dried them out and left a chalky texture appearance, I used to scream when I was told I was having it as a kid cos it smelt tank!!
