In the omnibus example it sounds like a bunch of augmented 6th chords resolving to minor 64 chords and then a secondary dominant following afterwards to repeat the harmonic sequence. I'm such a sucker for these late romantic sounding highly chromatic harmonic sequences. Absolutely incredible.

If I wasn't already impressed with your topics and videos. It seems I keep learning all these new words (to me) that I hear no one ever talk about, which is fascinating to me. Like Omnibus, or other words I've heard in your other videos too. I love learning new words that apply to music theory, even if it means the same thing as another word.

i'm a vocabulary junkie. the more specific i can be about things i'm thinking about, the happier i am. and that means words i only get to use now and then. the dark side is sometimes i'm incomprehensible. 😆
