Please pray for my family my father in-law tragically died unexpectedly on Saturday form a heart attack instead of them coming to be with us for Thanksgiving we are headed to them for his funeral. He was a good, kind, wonderful, righteous man and we are all so devastated.

The Lord is definitely hastening his work. And hes using you. I was born into the church 1978 (to give you a timeline). Throughout my whole childhood and as a young adult i never paid much attention. Never bothered. Left the church at 18 and went my own way although i always still kept the church in the back of my mind thinking ill come back someday.. Went to Laos and married from there. Started a family and had 2 children. She passed away on our second child. And i spent the next decade and a half raising our children through the darkest time of my life alone. Picked up some bad addictions. As 2020 rolled around i felt a need to come back. At least for some structure. But then everything shut down and i again fell into dark times. I was actually pretty upset (at the time) that the church played along with what i believed was a massive overstep of the govt. But about a year and a half ago i felt an urgency to return again. I have had some incredible miracles in my life recently that i know were not just coincidence. Ive cleaned up my addictions (which was a miracle in itself how easy it was this time). I baptized my 2 children 3 weeks ago and are going to the temple with a youth group next weekend. My ultimate goal is for us all to be sealed. But i found your channel maybe 6 weeks ago and have been binge watching/listening to your new videos as well as your playlists all night long while i work. (12 hour overnights. So its a lot of content!) I have learned SO much from you Jared. I had so many questions when i returned as i may as well be a new member. You have supercharged my knowledge of the church and helped me build a testimony in an extremely hastened pace in a way it wouldn't have happened otherwise. So i really appreciate you. (And Kaitlin. I watch her too.) And i just want to say thank you. P.S. your playlists are super helpful. I wish the rest of your videos were categorized. You have a TON to dig through. Especially when looking for something specific. But i value your thoughts. ...Oh i got my father watching you now too.👍

Finding the wrong channel can create more questions and even doubts than answers. But i found Jared fairly quickly and thought he has exactly what I was looking for. I never cared about watching the Thanksgiving Day parade. My family has had more of a low-key Thanksgiving for the last few years. I am thankful for the Gospel of Jesus Christ in my life, and I am grateful to be able to attend the temple often. I am thankful to know that the Church is true despite what is happening throughout the world. I know we will be blessed as we stay true to our Savior Jesus Christ and have faith.

We have the Sun bowl parade in El Paso and each ward is assigned a block of the parade route to clean up after the parade. Been doing it for years and the community is so grateful every year. It’s such a good way for Latter Day Saints to be seen in our community.

It's so ironic because I was thinking about the parade around noon remembering how we used to watch it all the time as kids. It seems hard to access now since we don't have television- one has to pay to access it if you want to see everything. I am glad we missed it. It sounded like there were problems with some of the balloons too.

That’s so funny. My family watched that while they were getting ready to watch other things like football games and the Macy’s parade. I wasn’t interested in any of it. I just went outside and sat and looked at the sky and watched the clouds floating outside because it was such a pretty day in South Carolina. My heart was aching because I have friends up in the mountains who I know lost a lot because of the hurricane over two months ago and they are still homeless. Others are OK, but also many of my family members could not make it to meet with us for Thanksgivingso for me apart from some of the jokes we told to cheer each other up it was indeed a sad Thanksgiving, but I am still so very grateful for everything I have.

I love these videos, keep posting. I’ve had a couple of thoughts while watching recently: the first is that I don’t think the brethren are doing the seven pattern intentionally necessarily. For example, it seems very unlikely to me that President Nelson would have planned to time his talk to that exact minute and second. The Lord was speaking through him and the Lord was controlling the pace. Likewise, I think all of those talks with the number seven as a pattern is the Lord telling them what to say. I think the Lord is wanting us to see that something is becoming complete. My current thinking is that that “something” is the day of the Gentiles. These are evidences of the fulfillment or completion of the day of the Gentile. It may be the case that the Lord has established all that needed to be established through the Gentiles and that he is now communicating the final important messages to wake us up to the next stage that we are moving into.

Compare the jaguar commercial with the volvo commercial. Two completely different ads, both celebrating completely different things. The Volvo one left me in tears because it was so beautiful. The Jaguar one left me grossed out. Yet depending on what is in your soul you will feel differently

I didn't look at it through the lens, looking glass that most of you see through. Though I wondered about the costumes that were being worn or the lack thereof for a family show. Also their choice of music I was wondering why they chose those songs. ???

I didn't notice anyone being sad or miserable. Those male dancers were in dresses but not full drag. They didn't have fake female 'curves'. It was totally forgettable compared to the floats. The real highlight was Sesame Street and Bronx Zoo. Broadway has always been flamboyant. Theater has always included these things. It's just magnified now because of politics and social media.

Yes, indeed, people watching a parade from the warmth of their homes meanwhile, in northeast Tennessee and western North Carolina and South Carolina people don’t have homes, or cars, or clothing, or heirlooms and things that have been passed down in their family for generations. In fact, they are lucky to be alive. Luckily members of the church, including my ward went up to help these people, and it is heartbreaking and shocking to say the least. You have never seen anything like this believe me. So while America celebrates, they should truly be thankful for everything they have and yet people still are not thankful. Not one bit. They complain and back bite and tear other people apart and act really nasty in traffic. Our country is ripe for judgment, and in my opinion the sooner judgment it comes upon us the better because our country and the wicked within our country deserve it wholeheartedly. Meanwhile, people up in the mountains and other places are sleeping intense in freezing temperatures with their children. Be thankful for everything that you have this year brothers and sisters. Be very thankful.

Growing up, my mom always had the Thanksgiving day parade on the TV. Now that I have my own house, I tried to keep that traditional alive, but the parade is so boring. I just can’t seem to do so. Plus, it’s just full of bunch of woke celebrities.
