Yours is the first door that worked for me. So far i tried 3 or 4 others that kept breaking. I plan on building this on my survival world to my trading hall, and im going to power it with a sculk sensor into a tflip flop. Thanks for the great video!

TYSM!!! for days i have been looking for a working piston door, but none have functioned correctly. i watched a mumbo jumbo video and it gave me the idea: gravity door! the first i tried didnt work, and this was my last resort. It works PERFECTLY and i am more grateful than words can say :D

dont use a repeater with the input system. thats why your sand is breaking

@@windmill9998 it’s probably too late to help but I found that if you put a sticky piston with a red stone block and it pushes the block right above the repeater at the top it’ll allow you to feed power to the door and it’ll work with repeaters I currently have a sculk sensor that acts like a lever but the output is from a repeater so I had to find a way around it and it works so it should work with a button or lever that has a repeater if you need more clear instructions just ask and I’ll try to be more clear lol 😅

A sand keeps breaking if you use a repeater to power the block which you need to do to use buttons

You can also extend the side of redstone with the lever to make it so that its always active and u open it with a button

@@an.honest_guy ima be honest i don't know why i said my original comment with such confidence lol. I cant tell you guys why it works for some but not for others, but the way I made my switch was an input lever extends a sticky piston that pushes a redstone block. This was the only way i found to work as an switch without weird interference, as this circuit doesn't seem to like repeaters.

Can't use a toggle flip flop as an input system to activate the Redstone piston which is annoying

Hi, 3 weeks later but maybe this can still help. I just built this door with a tflip flop. I just made the redstone from the flipflop power a sticky piston with a redstone block on top, to push up into the redstone line he had built. Works like a charm for me.

I think I figured it out, I was struggling with this and finnaly found what was. On the top line of redstone there is suppose to be three solid blocks (not slabs) two of them have redstone (the one connected to piston and one next to) the third solid block MUST NOT HAVE REDSTONE ON IT, its incredibly easy to miss and took me days to finaly find the problem.

The input can be wired into any of the top redstone, so u can literally move it anywhere and the lag is bedrocks fault which you just can’t design around I’m afraid lel

​@@Bob_The_Alieni had a problem with repeaters too. My fix was my lever goes into a sticky piston with a redstone block, and when that redstone block touches it acts the same as if it were a lever.

@@Kratos482 I’ve made it a few times on PE and it’s worked beautifully, I even made a longer one by just extending it a few blocks. Are you sure you didn’t miss a step or something? Cause these red stone things are super finicky and if so one thing wrong it won’t work, trust me I’ve messed them up a lot. I was having problems with the observer too because getting it placed facing in the correct direction is kind of difficult
