I didn’t read the graphic novel. Thought using the same actress to play both ancient and current Joanna Constantine worked well. Helped me to understand they are related, descendants, but not the same person. The chat with Mad Hatty (homeless bag lady) where Joanna did not know who Dream was helped me know they weren’t the same person. 👍🏽

Nice video, idk, I'm a bit out of words right now. Sorry for not being too constructive. I really like the Constantine we got, which was a bit unexpected, wasn't perfect but was good. The realization that JarJar Abrams got his hands on Hellblazer and that the project is on stable ground...kinda ruined my day...

I think they should've had different name Johanna for the ancestor and Joan for the modern Constantine.

Excellent videos…I agree that using the same actress for Constantine wasn’t the best choice. I’ve read the books so I understood what was happening but I couldn’t help but think that the majority of people will end up being fairly confused by the same actress playing two separate characters. Thank you.

I would love to have more of the beginning of the show. If they only concentrated on the imprisonment and getting back the insignia they could have more character development of Sandman. I'd like that. Thank you for the insight.
