Thank you for more spectacular video footage of parched, earth tone rock formations, water, leafy vegetation and wildlife. Perfect for another vicarious adventure for someone stuck in the middle of another subarctic winter of northern Alaska where the days are short and the temperatures in the minus 20’s Fahrenheit.

What a beautiful journey that was. We are so fortunate to have suck a beautiful couple like yourselves to travel and take suck amazing videos and photos to share for us all. Well done for helping that family too, it shows no matter how prepared people set themselves selves up with all the gear, spending so much on being comfortable they miss the one most important thing, “how do I get help if I breakdown”. No matter how new a car is, things can go wrong. Not to mention with the human body too. Kind regards, from Mario.

Great to see you guys again,that trail has been on my bucket list for quite some time,just can’t seem to make it happen.Just curious which month you were traveling,as there didn’t seem to be enough water lying around for wet season?It’s always very hot in the north,it’s hard to escape it.You sure have a lot of fun with your photo shooting,some lovely compositions.Arranging backgrounds and lighting are half the fun.I’m guessing there is at least a part two is there,some time in the future?Best wishes as you keep exploring this beautiful and wonderful Outback we have in this country 🙂
@UnimogAdventures3 жыл бұрын
It was pretty early in the dry season, but it had been a very dry wet season acording to the people up there. From Mataranka we went on to the NT, then down to the Bungle Bungles and the GIbb River road across to James Price Point. We have done a couple of videos from that trip, but will likely re do them in the near future as a Part 2.

Hi again from Canada. I recently bought myself a very nice camera Cannon 70D and a few nice lenses. 75-300mm & 100-400mm ultrasonic. I have taken some unbelievable shots with them. Curios to know if your husband has any tips as far as filters. I have heard of a polarizing filter that goes into the camera (so it can be used for all lenses) I’m also about to embark on a coarse to familiarize myself with the camera. However the camera is already making me look like a pro, its so good. Any tip would be most grateful. Thanks and keep on snapping!
@UnimogAdventures3 жыл бұрын
Iain says a polarising filter is a must, he has one on the camera almost all the time. Fil in flash if you are shooting people, and a UV filter for landscapes.
