I find the bunny man story to be highly suspect for one major reason, if the Bunny Man is indeed the escaped patient from the bus crash that would mean there’s 64 years in between when he escaped and when he was first encountered, he would’ve presumably been an adult by the time of the bus crash which means he could’ve been anywhere from his mid 70s to late 80s maybe even early 90s by the time the encounters began I don’t know about you guys but I don’t think someone who is clinically insane would be able to survive for that long in the forest with no outside help, and certainly wouldn’t have been able to survive at the age he would be in 1970

Believe it or not, it was actually fairly common for carnivals to do this, along with the strongman, bearded lady, and other human oddities. I'm old enough to remember visiting a carnival in the early 60's with my father. After the main show they offered a special show (for an additional fee) including a mummified man. I wanted to see it (they had told a very imaginative, totally invented, story around it). My father said he would go first, and when he came back he just said "you don't want to see that - let's go." Never got to see it, but didn't miss much, in retrospect.
