@@jonstolarski You obviously don't understand the music business, even a little. The band is called The Petersens, Emmett is a hired sideman. Bands are rarely ever a Democracy and those that are, don't last. I've been doing this for 47 years. I am a singing Bassist and unless I book, organize and hire a band, which I have done, I am a sideman who is a hireling and does only what he's told or asked to do. Sometimes I'll sing harmonies all night long, other times I may be asked to front the band and sing a few and other times I just play and don't sing at all. It's not up to me, it's up to the one in charge and that's generally the one handling the booking until such time you are so busy that you must hire management. Each situation is unique to itself but at the same time can be quite similar and completely predictable once you understand the business and weigh that against human nature i.e. band politics and bad people's habits. It's one of the few industries where one can drink all night at the job and this causes more trouble and wrecks more bands than you could ever imagine. Far more than hard drug use, believe it or not. I've seen it all.
